Questions & Answers

Are there any scents to this, and if I added peppermint essential oil, would it smell off?

Adding peppermint or any other scent or essential oil works well with it since it is unscented. My own efforts have yielded results. I have also added other ingredients, such as coffee, tea tree oil, oregano, oatmeal, etc.

Want to make soaps out of dinosaur eggs as a party favor. What is the approximate number of Easter eggs that would be made from this recipe?

Our heart shaped soaps were made in silicone cupcake molds and we made 15 soaps per 2lb pack

Is this going to make a lot of 2in soaps?

With this, I was able to make 6 4" diameter round soaps about 3" thick. This might be of some help.

A few very pretty bars of homemade soap were made by me
5/5

Never a soap maker before, I decided to try it! I have a mold, essential oils, and I want to give it a shot! To make the soap, I bought a pound of melt and pour goat's milk/glycerin soap base and melted it in the microwave, then added ground up oatmeal and honey. Having poured my first soap into the mold, I was done in ten minutes. These beautiful bars of soap are made by me! As you can see from the pictures, they are very pretty! I had a great time! I am in love with the soap too! There is plenty of lather, it doesn't disintegrate in the shower, and it feels and smells good. The next time I buy, I'll order.

There are exorbitant amounts of chemicals in the air
3/5

The chemicals in this melt and pour brand are not particularly exciting to me. It used to be my go-to melt and pour brand when I ran my soap business and I had no idea that it contained so many chemicals.

This is a super easy game As a Christmas gift, I decided to make melt and pour soap from coffee
5/5

I've never ever made soap, but recently found out about melt and pour soap! My only requirement was that I cut the block in half since I only needed two. A 5 pound weight loss. Following the directions on the box (using the microwave), I stirred the mixture randomly. If you plan on adding in ingredients, make sure that you have them already measured and ready, so you can mix it up quickly, pour it in your chosen mold, and worry not about it setting up slowly. In fact, I loved it except for the fact that it set so fast! Considering I don't have any previous experience with it, I am incredibly happy with the way it turned out. It is definitely worth checking out!.

We like the fragrance and color of the soap, as well as the ease of melting it
5/5

In just 40 seconds, this ice cream can be melted in your microwave. In terms of feel and consistency, the soap is very nice. The website of the company and the packaging do not provide many details about how the product works. Make sure bubbles aren't present in your moldings by spraying alcohol on them and letting your soap air dry for three weeks before packaging. Furthermore, the plastic mold they sell goes with it but is simply too rigid so that you won't be able to remove the soap easily. It is a good thing YouTube exists! Not through the business but through the company, I got my questions answered.

The soap base is great
5/5

It is worth it to use the suspension formula. When I made soap previously, I included oatmeal in the recipe with a non-scented fragrance It sank to the bottom when the goat milk soap base was suspended in an oatmeal solution. It was possible to evenly distribute oatmeal throughout the soap with this base. Great! I mix 50 drops of almond fragrance, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp oatmeal, and 50 drops of almond essential oil into 10 ozs of soap base, and they love.

This book is worth your time
4/5

As opposed to all the negative reviews I have had, I have had absolutely no problems with this product. For me, it's perfectly melted in the microwave for 1 minute at a time. I am sadly disappointed by how poorly the fragrance holds up, but the product is very easy to use. Making these soaps for Christmas gifts was my first time making soaps and I had no problems with it.

Soft as a baby's skin
5/5

I found it very easy to use this suspension soap, because it already contains Lye. They recommended this soap in a recipe on Pinterest and they were right, it's the best soap you can get! I made this mistake, then followed the instructions the second time and it worked great. Don't attempt to use the whole block at once. My first try didn't turn out well, but the second time it worked out great. You will love the way your skin feels after using this goat soap.

There is a discrepancy between what I ordered and what I received
3/5

There is a discrepancy between what I ordered and what I received. As a result of cutting into it, the block There was something funny about the smell. It was cheaper to buy in bulk than to buy at the store, but the smell was different. However, I still tried making soaps and they were horrible, so I threw them out. I am so disappointed in you!.
