Questions & Answers
It's quite thick, about the same thickness as a 16-inch wide sheet of paper. The wire is 18 gauge, but it's very bendable.
It is made of aluminum, so it will not rust and will not melt in the dryer.
Yes, there is that much wire on the spool; it is a LARGE spool.

For making armatures, this is the best wire ever. This is almost entirely what I use to make dolls. The wire is flexible but strong enough not to snap or break when bent. I simply double it if I need a wider or heavier wire, and it twists together easily to form a single wire. I am very pleased with the quality and price of this wire.
Mostly because it was exactly what I had hoped for. It's made of aluminum. It's made of wire, and it's 16 gauge. It has a squishy quality to it. It's exactly what I've been looking for.
My son is very pleased with the quality and price, and claims that it is the best sculpture support he has ever used.
We'll be making cloth masks out of these. Pipe cleaners are vastly inferior.
Sculpting armatures are made with this material. br>I had to double up on the wire because it was softer than I was used to. br>br>Easy to bend and twist.
Excellent wire that is very flexible and salt-water resistant (unlike galvanized wire).
Nice wire, easy to work with even with limited tools, which was exactly what I needed for my project. For how much there is, it's a good deal.
Great product; it's especially useful for making loops around the main wire so the clay can adhere to it.
