Questions & Answers

Do you know how this product works to reduce squeaking of my embroidery machine? How do I use Do you quilt? I don't do it. ?

While I use it to cover the surface around my sewing machine, I don't use it for doing embroidery work with it. What I do is to cover the throat of my sewing machine so the fabric can move more easily through it when I'm It is highly recommended that you do not spray it on your embroidery unit without checking with your dealer first.

Will it work on silicone and rubber molds without damaging the mold if it is food grade?

This is not the case, in my opinion.

Does anyone know of any success stories with using this as a mold release agent for candles?

As yet, I have not done so. Please try out a spray can and purchase one on your own.

What is the effect of this substance on needles and machines?

I have not experienced this issue on my machine. Whenever I use the machine applique method, I spray the silicone spray over the fabric. It is possible that when you iron on your stitch witchery, the stitch witchery does not fully fuse, resulting in gummy film that attaches to your needle, causing thread breaks. In order to make sure my needle goes through these areas with little or no breakage, I use a silicone spray.

A new resin art mold has been released! You should try this stuff! The item I bought is to use with RESIN ART MOLDS READY FOR DEMOLD OR RELEASE
5/5

It is about 10 times as much as what I spray lightly onto the silicone molds I would recommend 12 inches away for an intense blast for just a minute or two on each cavity, or even all of the cavities if they are really small. Despite my hesitation, I decided to buy a mold release agent, as I thought my pieces were loose and easy to release. So with using it I know now I was unnecessarily stressing my molds because they just pop out of the mold like they weren't suppose to be there, and I'm not sure why that is. Let's get started! The research into the life expectancy of silicone molds led me to realize that my molds, & the silicone oil that entailed, had a limited shelf life. During a certain number of pours, yours would only last for a certain length of time- I believe it will be between 8 and 10 The minimum number of 9 must be met It won't take long for them to lose their gloss. " &" I then repeated it two more times & In any case, they are no longer good. With a proper release agent, it is possible to do so. If this spray or similar is used, I imagine the mold's life would be extended by many many more pours and castings! As a result, I now understand how important it is to use a release agent from the very beginning! As a first-hand witness to it, I can attest to its truth. In all pours, a little bit of the mold finish is left behind, but not nearly as much as you may think. As each pour is made the quality of the pieces becomes less and less as it goes on. I am not sure why we reject something so simple that is so necessary for taking care of our molds, since we pay a lot for them. The problem with numerous molds is that I made the mistake. This is an amazing product, and I will not go without it now that I know about it. In some cases with mold that is deeper, you will need to get the spray nozzle closer to it and do a quick blast to either side. That's correct. All of them will need to be cleaned up a bit after spraying, and the flat surface area up & back down There is also a layer of silicone on the exterior of the This is nothing more than a quick wipe down with a soft tissue paper or baby wipe. The only thing that gets into the mold is a tiny bit of overspray that beads up and sticks to the mold (I turn the mold upside down so no debris can get into it) While it is probably ok to leave it, I prefer to wipe it away before pouring resin. There was a spray of paint This process, even though it is wiped off, makes cleanup after the pieces have been cured easier. Tape can be used in several different ways REMOVAL OF THE PIECES MUST BE DONE BEFORE. A piece of scotch tape should be placed on the mold and left to dry With your finger, lightly burnish the surface. " &" Using a vacuum cleaner, remove any resin drizzles and debris There are sparkles. You must repeat this until you've cleaned all the surfaces. There is no such thing as too cheap tape! After that, take the pieces out of the mold. There's a lot of weight in this can. This will last for a long time, saving a lot of molds in the future. For $14 or $15, you will save a lot of molds Compared to how much it costs per use, it's literally pennies. " &" Squeaky doors and windows can be fixed by it It's fun to clean windows and shine purses or shoes! The following edits have been made This year 2020 After talking with a fellow resin artist who had issues and concerns, I returned to the studio The reader reported that he had no luck with this, even though it was important to add. After cleaning the molds with clear tape, I spray the molds and allow them to dry After that, bag each mold separately in a zip-top It should be noted, however, that Please note this Please note this RIGHT BEFORE I POUR THE RESIN INTO A MOLD, I GET A QUICK SHOT OF THIS SPRAY ONE MORE TIME! In case your molds aren't coming out right after cleaning them with the spray and you've used it immediately after. This has to be re-done ASK FOR A SECOND spray just before pouring! that we do right after cleaning keeps them in good condition for storage until we need to use them again Maintains their quality for a longer period of time. The air is absorbent, but it cannot escape. This is still the case due to the fact that it keeps them pliable and strong Having a soft touch. Next, I will prepare everything and then I will leave Once I make my mica, pastes, glitter colors etc I quickly step off the sideline and spray them again to ensure that they are wiped clean. It seems as though my pieces are popping out like magic! As I write this, my friend has confirmed that he is doing the second spraying of the crop. As soon as you are ready to pour It is composed of resin and ebonite Having talked about this, he is so glad we did. Having seen the results, he is ecstatic! Please bear with me as I have written a long piece. We've invested hundreds of dollars in molds, but you likely have as well. Saving all those molds isn't a bad idea if you do a little research. Don't be afraid to spray twice! Once on the long-term care facility and once on the patient The quick release should only be used once. Everyone have a happy and creative new year!.

A risky situation
4/5

In an effort to impress my boss, I performed a few risky business moves on my wood floors while no one was around. I was able to release my molds well, as.

This doesn't work
3/5

This tool works just fine for extracting candles from the mold, but I cannot remove candles from the mold with it. The first time I tried it, I tried to return it, but it said it was not eligible for a refund. The product I purchased does not work at all. I basically wasted my money for nothing. Yes, that's right.

Also makes it easy to turn paper product labels ( shampoo, shower gel ) into water resistant ones after printing
5/5

While still on the sheet, mist the paper with water, let it dry, then apply a heavier coat, let it dry, and peel off the excess paper.

I really like this product
5/5

It comes in a large You should check out this stuff. This is all quite new to me as well as mold making. I just started with resin casting. It is mostly because I did not seal, did not use release, did not mix correctly that I had so many failures. As you know, learning curves are inevitable. As a result of ruining some glass gems that I was going to make a mold of, I ended up losing them all because I can't remove the silicone mold material from them. I find it so The next time I took on the challenge, I vowed I would do it right. As a result of my experiences, I have learned how easy it can be to make resin molds and cast them. Certainly, this is the product you're looking for. My silicone mold making routine now includes this product. It is now a part of my routine for both casting and silicone mold making. The casts both resin and silicone molds, all of which have come out perfectly, are still sloppy and I am learning as I go. This is true even for discs that I forgot to seal beforehand. It dries pretty quickly. It took about 30 seconds. This thing is still on even though you can't see it! Drying is so easy with it. Using this, I can cast or mold anything and it will not stick. No matter how many mistakes I make, these molds are going to be fantastic. Having finally refinshed my efforts, I can now move forward with them! It's such an exciting time! The following information is to be noted There is a terrible smell to it. I recommend that you do this outside while wearing a good filter mask According to reports, this stuff is supposed to be used to lubricate machine tubing.

Using silicone in this manner will not release the silicone from the mold, which is not what you want
3/5

is not a release agent, i repeat, this product is not I purchased this product for the purpose of releasing silicone from a silicone mold however, it does not seem to do the job. In fact, I believe it may have even made the silicone more adherent, resulting in ruined silicone product. Learning a hard lesson that cost a lot of money.
