It appears to be quite powerful. It was difficult for me to mix; I'm not sure if I wasn't measuring correctly or it just dried too quickly; I was just trying to pour it into a glove to make a hand and paint for Halloween, and it's lost fingers a year later, but it's still pretty strong. I suppose all you have to do now is mix it thoroughly and check for clumps before pouring. I couldn't seem to make it work. lol
Yes, our paris plaster can be used to make stepping stones. However, if you want to keep your stone outside, concrete is a good option.
Making plant stents is not a good idea. Products made from gypsum powder should not be exposed to moisture or come into contact with water on a regular basis.
It's possible that I'm unsure about that.

Plaster is what it is. This is plaster if you're looking for it. If you don't want plaster, this is plaster; therefore, if you don't want plaster, don't buy it. If you're looking for plaster, this will suffice because it is, after all, plaster. Plaster gets a 5/5.

SETS ARE RUNNING TOO FAST! This stuff hardens in a flash!! In 3- This plaster sets in 4 minutes, even when working with cold water; you can kind of react it with more cold water, but it's tricky. This is a difficult learning curve for a resin artist!.
It was my first time using Plaster of Paris. I went to see a movie. Slow the drying process by using cold water. 1 water to 2 1/2 plaster Paris is a good ratio to use. Pour it in slowly or spoon it in with a spoon. When the player powder begins to settle on the surface, do not stir quickly; instead, stir slowly. I'm pretty sure I stirred for about 5 minutes. You've got plenty of time, thanks to a friend who loaned me a hand-made mold of a wolf print. I also used a drop of soap in water to spray the mold. You can use a brush or a cloth to apply it. It prevents mold from sticking to it. The cold water and slow storage took 40 minutes to cure after being poured. The zip lock bag is the cheapest in the world, and that is my only complaint. It is impossible to seal the package. I folded it in half and placed it at the bottom of the shipping box to keep air out.
I suppose this is a good product, but it dries so quickly that it's nearly useless. in under a minute.
I didn't get any instructions in the box, so I used the suggested ratio from the product description, poured everything into a container, screwed the lid on, and shook it about 10 times. There was no more sloshing after shake number ten. This plaster had solidified by the time I removed the cover. It would have been nice if there had been some more detailed instructions. I didn't see the instructions because I didn't see them in the picture.
Yes, this product is "simple to use" and mixes well, but it was terrible for what I needed it for. My students made hand molds, which we then filled with plaster. Ever. Single. One of my fingers was broken. Each and every one of them It was far too delicate for this application, and I believe that advertising it for this purpose is deceptive. Smaller, less dense projects may benefit from it, but hand casts will not.
For shipping purposes, it is not packed. Plaster is strewn about the room. This should've been sent in a separate package. This isn't a bag, it's a sack. The bag that held the plaster inside what used to be a box was split, and at least a third of it was strewn about and rendered useless. The plaster in the box had shattered. , which is too light and frail. Apart from that, and as a sculptor, I've mixed a lot of plaster, the plaster is the most aggravating I've ever used. This forms too quickly, remains brittle for too long, and is insufficiently strong. I wish I had opened it sooner; otherwise, I would have returned it.
