This is the only type of tumbler I've ever used.
Yes, you can fill it with soil and water to make a small plant pot. You should not use it for an outside plant because it is not designed for direct sunlight; instead, use it for indoor plants only. I also wouldn't put it in a window that gets a lot of direct sunlight. Direct sunlight will turn your resin yellow, and I believe it will only withstand heat up to 125 degrees. I've been using epoxy to make a variety of products for sale. As a result, I've experimented with a variety of epoxy resins. The fact that it was a quick/fast set drew me in. I occasionally run out of time or become impatient, and I require my clothes to dry much more quickly. It did exactly as it said it would! br>br>I was worried that because this was a fast-setting epoxy, I wouldn't have much work time, but I had the same amount of time, if not more, than with all the other epoxies I've tried! Another surprise was how clear it turned out, with no bubbles! This was on a cup, and tonight I'm going to be playing with my molds, so we'll see if it holds true, but based on what I saw last night, I'm confident it will. br>br>Probably the only disadvantage I can think of is that it had a slight odor, but it wasn't as bad as the majority of the others. I didn't get a headache or anything like that as a result of it. br>br>I'll post an update later to let you know how it turned out in all of my jewelry molds!.
This resin left a lasting impression on me! The quantity is fantastic, and it dries extremely hard, unlike some store-brand resins, which are prone to denting. There are no bubbles in the cure and it is very clear. But the best part about this resin is that it cures completely in only 8 hours, which is faster than any other two-part resin I've ever seen and unlike any other resin currently on the market. However, despite the fact that the cure time is significantly reduced, the work time is not significantly reduced. This product was fantastic, and I would strongly suggest it!.
This one does not have a strong musty/moldy odor like the Hobby Lobby one does. We don't use any special techniques to remove bubbles, and I've only found a few in the items we've made so far. We've discovered that if the mix ratio is correct, 1 to 1 using volume (ml or fl oz), the finished product is hard, clear, and sets in about 8 hours, just like it says. We recently purchased silicone molds for a solid cube, sphere, pyramid, and gem shape that require a 3 to 4 inch deep pour, and these, too, surprisingly set solid in 8 hours. We live in a high-humidity area, and items have set equally well left out: br>a) at night, when the temperature is between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit 80, at approximately 80% humidity,
b) on the top shelf of a dark closet with no climate control, and
c) near a window on nights where the% br>In most cases, flat items such as notebook covers and coasters should be left to lay flat for about 24 hours after removing them from the mold, because they will slowly warp if not, especially if powder pigment is used. Overall, I give it a ten out of ten rating and would buy it again! Love it because it dries clear, has a low odor, and is simple to use.
I'm laughing because I thought I knew what I was doing as a first-timer. Clearly, I was unsuccessful. Your product, on the other hand, is fantastic. I found it to be extremely useful. I just didn't know when or how to put the glitter in, so it ended up at the bottom of the mold. lol. I was surprised to find that this product dried much faster than I had anticipated. This bracelet was made for my two-year-old and soon-to-be-three-year-old daughters. I took it out, closed it, and taped it where it would fit my baby girl after it had been half-cured for 12 hours. Then set it aside to cure for the remainder of the night. I made her put it on this morning, and she seems to like it. It's very simple to operate. When it's colder, however, removing bubbles is a little more difficult. To avoid this, we slightly warm the solution. This is something we'll definitely be buying again and again!.
This is, without a doubt, the best product I've ever used. I've tried other well-known brands, but they simply don't measure up. Without a torch, there are very few bubbles.
I've made hundreds of glitter tumblers with other resins and never had any problems, but this resin pulls and causes hairline fractures throughout the tumbler. It's also difficult to remove the micro bubbles. I'm returning to my original resin and waiting the 24-hour period.
Before mixing together, I recommend pouring each product into separate cups and placing them in hot water for a few minutes to help reduce bubbles. This is a product that I will purchase again.
