The points did not snap when I bent them back and forth at least ten times. I have used them before and bent them back and forth about 50 times.
A locally owned custom frame shop might be able to help. Having my frames cleaned/repaired by my framing supplier is one of the things I do in my frame shop. Most of the time, you just have to take them apart and clean them.
The only thing I can advise you is to look at the loading port on your gun and see if the profile matches
This is not the case, according to me. to work with picture frames manufactured of various types of wood and didn't encounter any issues.

As far as picture framing goes, I am merely an amateur. It'll be easier to handle when I have my handheld cutter ready to be able to cut and bend mats Staples and tabs have been installed, but they break or fall off a lot. Therefore, I finally decided to buy the proper tools for this most recent framing bender. Until now, I had the tabletop mat cutter, but now I have the frame point driver. There have been times where I have switched to another one, but THIS ONE is the best. You can do so many things with this program. That was so cool of you I am bopping I am bopping All you have to do is bop. Feeling like a baby Yoda with magic powers is exactly what you are experiencing.
The tool is made of hard plastic and metal parts, and its construction appears to be good. It seems like the points used are also well made, and are thick metal. My experience with it has been good. (separate cost of $17)
I've not encountered any problems or jams with it. Except for
You see a screw near the bottom of the tool's heel that screws into the tool to drive the point further (more power)
and out to reduce it. Despite turning the screw all the way to the full power, it only just barely drove the points in. The distance I calculated was the point being too far away from me for me to loosen it down, which I was able to do as a result. Although it worked on the inexpensive frames I was using and the mats I mounted myself, I am unsure whether it would work on harder materials like oak, or some other harder wood. The last item is its cost. It is close to $75. It would be less than that to get a Makita hammer/drill!.
In this case, the two points got jammed about 50% of the time, so to fix it, the magazine had to be unscrewed so that the stuck points could be released. At the framing shop, I know the fletcher performs exceptionally well. My response was to return the package straight away. I am disappointed that my replacement will take more than two weeks to arrive. Buying another product if this one is also faulty is a good idea. So they sent me a replacement shorty after the first one It no longer jams commonly after only using it a few times per year and now it is faster to use clips and screws rather than this point driver. As a matter of fact, it didn't work for me at all. I'd save a lot of time if this did not jam.
deeply saddened by the fact that my point driver has broken after only a week of use. I tried to unscrew one of the screws, and upon doing so, the machine screw broke in half. The product was a total waste of money. I wouldn't buy it again.
