Are the inch and metric scales found on the edge of this ruler (or can it be flipped between the two)? Is scale zero at the edge or does it begin after it has been ?

A scale measured in inches is used. Despite being offset slightly in from the ends, zero is still at the bottom

I would like to know whether or not this can be used as a tearing bar in order to make prints using the device. Can you tell me if anyone has used it for tears?

I used to work in the printing industry, but you can tape or hold ruler to a surface, which has grooves on it so you can put paper over it and cut it with a sharp knife, which gives you a clean, sharp edge. I hope this is helpful.

Does this ruler have a flexible or rigid handle?

This metal is very rigid and has a great finger grip edge that is backed by foam.

Can you tell me what the smallest dimension marking is - 1/16", 1/32"? From the photo, it is impossible to tell. ?

In the first inch at each end, 1/16" markings are evident, but in the rest, 1/32" words are written

My job is in cabinet making, and I purchased this tool to guide me when cutting veneers and to draw alignment grids. The solution is perfect for both parties. Underside of the ruler has a rubber material adhering to it, which is great because it prevents the ruler from shifting from point when pressure is applied from above. I really like how the inches and millimeters have pronounced graduations on one side that ramp down flush, while the other side has more of a guide to show cutting lines. There is even a "finger groove" along the edge of the blade, which keeps your finger from getting in the way as you run your blade around it.

I think it was perfect for cutting foam boards with either a blade, disposable cutter, or an Exacto blade. An example of the first is that it has no An anti-slip strip can be found at the bottom of the table. There is also a distinct finger trough along one edge as well as a thick When you use those two features together, you can confidently cut through the rule while using enough pressure to hold it securely in place. It is unlikely that you will slip and get your fingers in the blade's path, and the blade will not For foam board, you have to make two cuts to get a clean edge, and the ruler cannot go between them, so you have to be extra careful.

My needs are met by this product

My needs are met by this product. In order to keep the ruler from sliding, it has rubber back and finger rails so it can be easily kept in place this helps prevent injury from cutting your fingers during cuts. The ruler is straight and has a rubber backing. A dent in one corner was present when I bought it slightly used, but it doesn't affect the overall performance of the ruler. I definitely recommend this ruler if you need a large ruler or take up a lot of time cutting materials.
