Although I am unsure of the exact thickness of these boards, I am confident that they will fit comfortably inside the standard depth of a picture frame, along with a picture and a double mat on top. br>I purchased these boards to use as backing boards for my wife's art prints, which she sells on Etsy. They're about the same weight as the weight boards that single-issue comic books are stored and protected on.

When I called to order 10 plastic sleeve scents, they demanded that I photograph the cheap acrylic covers and that they investigate after their investigation of this roughly 90 cent purchase, they requested that I send them the order that was a total of $10. I called them because their ratings were high, so why not?.
This is the second time I've ordered this product, and both times it has failed to meet my expectations. The listing describes the mat as having a "white core bevel cut mat," but the core is actually brown. It does not appear to be clean or professional in any way.
For years, I've been ordering all of my photo mats from Golden State Art (8x10 - 16x20). 11x14 - 16x20) were all black until I came across some white 11x14 mats with photos at an automotive museum and decided to order some. I've never had a Dud with these Photo Mats, just like I've never had a Dud with the black Photo Mats. The peace of mind I get from purchasing Golden State Art products is well worth the extra cost, and if you do your homework, you'll discover that you aren't alone. paying an additional fee! I hope this has been of some assistance, as that is why I write reviews in the first place. Cheers.
Overall, I believe these backing boards are overpriced for what they are, but they are exactly what I need and do the job, so I will continue to purchase them for my small business (art prints). I've bought 200 backing boards so far, and even though some of them have slightly bent edges or small nicks (like the one pictured), I'm still using them to avoid wasting them. I just opened a new pack of boards today and discovered two of them had a large dirty stain that was impossible to remove from the plastic wrap. I'm hoping it doesn't mess up my count, and if the rest are fine, I'll use them, but you'd think they'd have a better quality control system in place. If my prints weren't such a specific size and I had a larger budget, I would have just purchased them in person, even if it cost more, so that I would know my products would arrive in good condition. Those that aren't damaged, on the other hand, are extremely durable and perform admirably for my purposes.
They also have an odd "ripple" effect, as if they've been bubbled. I'm at a loss for words. I bought it at the last minute to get my client's artwork ready to give them, and it just didn't have the feel or professional packaging look I was looking for, but I didn't have time to order something else. Because of the ripples, no matter what angle the light hits it, it reflects off all of the ripples or bubbles in the plastic, making it difficult to see or appreciate the artwork behind it. It's as if someone sprayed water on your camera lens, and when you look at the picture, you can only see around the specks of water. The matte and backing board, on the other hand, are fantastic.
I've only recently begun to use these, but they're lovely and help my paintings come together nicely. I only gave it four stars because I've already discovered two out of the package that I can't use for my fished product due to knicks on the finished side of the fron mat. I'm hoping that I won't have to look for anything else. I don't see a way to contact the seller, so I'll put them aside for now and hope for the best; I'll be buying more later. The mats, as well as the clear pocket for them, are very nice.
These are exactly what I've been looking for as I begin to take my photography more seriously. The cutting of both sizes that I ordered showed good quality control. The box in which they are packaged is ideal for storing and protecting mat sets that aren't in use right away. It's crucial to carefully remove the cellophane wrapper from the box, which contains all of the supplies. My local Michael's store does not have any acid-free materials. I thought the price was reasonable, and I was relieved that I didn't have to purchase a large quantity. Seeing how well these mats work confirms my decision not to purchase a mat cutter for dealing with large, difficult-to-transport and-store boards.
These guys are incredible. Golden State Art is the place to go if you want to buy something. I've been doing it for three years and have never been let down. Products of high quality at reasonable costs. You get exactly what they advertise, and their items are carefully packed.
