Because the back is cream, I reverse them, and no one has noticed the beveled edge is reversed to date.

cut mats. I've recently acquired some new works of art that I'd like to keep, so I figured matting them would be the best option for storage. These are fantastic mats. They do not contain any acids. A bright white beveled edge with a nicely cut bevel is included for free! I'm completely blown away. They were delivered plastic-wrapped AND boxed to ensure no damage. I went on the hunt for more right away. When I run out of packs, I'll just add more to my cart. I don't want to overlook the Golden State organization.
During and after my travels, I create small watercolor paintings. After that, I like to frame them and give them to my traveling companions as a memento of their journey. I can buy cheap ready-made mats and backing boards by using these precut acid-free mats and backing boards. For very little money, I made 8x10 frames, matted the paintings with their 5x7 openings, and had a lovely presentation.
Several sheets arrived with the same corner defected due to packaging, but the damage was minor enough that I was able to use the mats. I wish they were a little bigger because the size leaves no room for variation in frame size (please note that 8x10 frames are not all 8x10, and some rabbets are deeper than others). I was finally persuaded to buy a mat cutter as a result of this. Overall, if you have the right frame, they're a good buy.
I bought an 8x10 mat with a 5x7 opening. The 5x7 photograph is too large to fit in the opening. The opening is 4 inches wide, according to my measurements. 5"x6. It's too big for a 4x6 photo at 5". No good. It's too late to alter the image size.
I'm so glad I was able to order them all together: Mats, backings, and bags are all included in the package. They are packaged in a sturdy brown cardboard box that is ideal for storage. My art looks great matted and bagged, which makes gifting a breeze!.
These are low-cost mats that can be quickly applied to artwork. Although they are labeled as acid free, I wouldn't recommend them for archival purposes. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will fade the art, but I find them to be simple to use and a time saver when compared to cutting my own small mats.
These mats are merely adequate. It's not great, but it's mostly due to the seller. I sent it late and didn't get it until five days after it was supposed to arrive. However, they offer twice as many for only $5 more, which is misleading because it was not stated on the page.
These were purchased to help me fussy cut fabrics for crafts. Larger cuts are made with the outer dimensions of 8x10, while the inner dimensions are 4x4. 5x6. The number 5 is ideal for separating smaller designs and backgrounds on postcards. And I'm able to see true colors with them. They are of high quality. color. I'd use them for photos without a doubt.
