A couple years ago, I bought them to update the kitchen floor in an old house I recently acquired. For my painting project, I conducted some research on Pinterest to figure out the best primer and paint Sat morning, I gave the old floor a thorough cleaning and primed it once it dried before painting it two coats of white. Over the course of Sunday, I stenciled 8x8 of the kitchen floor in one area and 10x12 of the other area in about 6 hours. The stencils I bought have 3 sets each. This allowed me to paint six squares at a time and move on to the next one. I recommend that you apply the paint with a high density foam roller.

A stencil like this really appealed to me. Because it did not come with adhesive (which I expected), I just used painters tape instead, since I didn't care if it was not perfect. I would have used spray adhesive instead if I wanted to make sure it looked Using just a little bit of paint on the sponge prevents bleed through. Be patient and tap tap tap without getting too much paint on the sponge. This set came with 2 sheets so that I could use one while the other dried. You will need a great deal of patience, but this is entirely worth it. It was the best option since I wanted to buy Moroccan tile in the future, but I knew that it would become out of style quickly. So I did a super light gray coat, which has the effect of weathered and doesn't have to be perfect. I also didn't want to deal with serious bleed and touch ups. There is no overlap between the stencils because I ordered the size for the 12x12" tile (which my tiles are).
The size of the stencil is smaller than the size of the tile, so the stencils will not touch each other. Even though it was the end of the world, we You need to size up if you plan on touching them.

This was applied to a concrete basement floor and the results were great I am very happy with how it turned out. Before applying the paint, offload 90% of it onto a paper towel and roll it on using a foam roller I found that this method resulted in the sharpest lines!.
