Questions & Answers
No plastic has been cut with it, but it cuts through seven or eight sheets of paper with ease, so I suspect it will do what you need, though I'm not sure how long the blade would remain sharp.
This is for a friend who's birthday is coming up. It is beautiful, but she says that the handle cannot be removed (to her knowledge). It's my fault.
I believe it's a myth. Only a few pieces of paper can be cut with it. I spent a lot of time and effort on that.
The thickness of the paper and the lamination should determine whether or not you can do it. As a result, I cut three sheets of 24" paper in one pass with the blade At a time, copy the paper.

In just a few seconds, the plastic blade guard had fallen off, exposing the long metal piece the blade glides along. That metal piece then fell off as well. A few people attended it but it was just two-sided Tape with two sides. As soon as I put it back together, I tried cutting I paid only $5 for this cheap paper cutter, which cut a part of the paper and folded the rest along the side. If even that, it's worth about $5. I bought this because it was the cheapest one I could find and because I believe it will cut thicker paper more easily. Also, I bought this one to cut film negatives when they are developing. For this job, I'm confident that the film will cut a straight line because it is much tougher than paper. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product even if it was close to a worthy purchase. Also, the storage compartment lid is quite The hinge felt like it was going to crack and the box was extremely unstable when I opened it. Even now, I'm still debating whether or not I'd keep it, as I hate to invest so much for something that will surely break in a few months.
Xerox did not provide me with a paper cutter with a blade that is so dull that it cannot cut a single sheet. The paper only bends when it goes through the machine. Thus we have yet another misguided Amazon purchase for yet another shady and/or inaccurate product listing by Amazon for a too well used product that should be thrown away, rather than getting people scammed. Rather than try to sell a used product that does not function as described, let us list it as "like new!". I have bought so many listings with incorrect descriptions on Amazon that I can't even remember. As of this point, it appears that these listings are being PURPOSELY described incorrectly (*) in order to make money/not lose money on items that are not in sellable condition and should just be thrown away. Lie by listing something as "like new" or "very good" and knowing that it has "minor cosmetic defects" but delivering an item that is broken or used up and no longer works or leaking everywhere or an empty container or legitimate physical damage that isn't cosmetic. The purchase of items under all those conditions has occurred too frequently for me to believe it is accidental or not. I am here to say hello to Amazon! You are welcome to charge me $12 for disposing of YOUR garbage.
I'm not sure what this is for. It is called a blade. It is not a blade, so I quickly ran my fingers up and down its length to demonstrate my point to my roommate. It seems that the design relies on the two pieces of metal that make up the "blade" and the base being close enough to cut paper into two, but it does not succeed at its sole purpose.
Pro There is an appealing sound to it. You should get it if you are a Foley artist looking for a good paper cutter sound.
There is a label printer in the house, and I intend to label everything with it. My intention was to trim small label tapes to fit small products with this. The blade of the guillotine has a 1/2" gap between the stop at the top of the bed and the top of the stop. (I checked and all the models have the same design, not just this one. I was able to fix my problem by cutting a small piece of aluminum and installing it to fill most of the gap (leaving a little room for the blade to "float" against the stationary blade).
This is not a clear cut from top to bottom. Has a good start, but does not pull off a clear clean cut at This product is poor quality and is flimsy. The picture is rarely good when it is cut A paper cutter would not be able to cut 5 sheets at once.
Compared to one I bought more than 25 years ago, this is an impressive improvement. I had been using my old one's blade, but it had become increasingly Since I mostly cut stamp mounts made from oriented polystyrene ( a material that resembles plastic) as well as stamp paper for my stamp collection, I chose to purchase this Guillotine Paper Cutter for about 1/3rd of the cost. As far as I'm concerned, it works fine for me and I recommend it for those who collect stamps at least.
You have nothing to gain from it. There is no product for this type of use A functional word. I was unable to cut a single piece of paper with this cutter because its blades are so dull. You have nothing to gain from it. If it was designed for a specific purpose, it should at least fulfill it. It's best to avoid buying stuff unless you just want to give it to others. The maker of this product should be ashamed.
My large 12" Swingline cutter enjoys the company of this I keep my 6" model on my desk so I don't have to go to the room where I keep my large trimmer to trim small items. It's also safer since the small blade is less sharp than the larger one, yet it may not cut to the same extent as the larger one. In order to succeed, you need to keep the blade close to the board, because if you bend it outward, it won't cut and just folds the paper down. Some users have reported that bending it inward does the same thing. Under the compartment is a divided compartment that can be used to store items. Despite its reputation for good quality, Swingline continues to thrive.
