To tell you the truth, I only used one of the tools after using the majority of the items in this kit. I have no idea what it's called. It has two balls on each end, and I use it to fold paper on my scor tray. The bone folders are too wide to fit within my scor lines and are thus useless. The other tool is designed for quilling, which I do not do. The larger bone folders are well-made, but the two smaller tools aren't. I believe that you get what you pay for, but not in a derogatory sense. This package was reasonably priced, and it fulfills my needs.
I should have spent a little more money to get better tools. Everything is made of cheap plastic, and the "bone" creaser lacks sharp edges necessary for proper crease. I'll order more high-quality products when I return to my card-making classes.
When I'm served, I've always folded tips for bartenders and restaurant employees. I know about fifty to sixty different folds, some of which are more complex than others and take longer to fold. If you're into origami in any way, this kit will help you improve your skills and cut down on the time it takes to complete some of the more difficult folds.
The bone folders were the main reason I bought this set. The curved one on the smaller side has a nice clean edge. The straight bone folder is the source of my problem. It has an off-center seam that must be smoothed out or the paper will rip. I haven't yet tried out the rest of the tools in the package.
It's a great way to practice quilling with paper. Your "Go-To" tools for your first project, as well as your "Base Tools" Most other projects will require "tools. ".
These are made of plastic rather than bone. To keep my damp paper from ripping, I had to sand down the seams. In some cases, it will be used.
He's been doing a lot of small origami lately, so I figured some of these might help with the small folds.
They're fantastic and I use them a lot.
