I didn't get any instructions with mine. Is that something I didn't get because the box wasn't sealed, or are they not included?

There are no instructions included in the package. You must conduct research using Pinterest, YouTube, and/or books.

Where can I find a map?

The kit I bought didn't come with any instructions. I learned how to use everything by googling "paper quilling" and watching YouTube and Pinterest videos.

Overall, a great deal for the money; I'll go over each tool in the kit from the perspective of someone who has been quilling for a few years but isn't willing to spend a fortune on high-end tools: br>The scissors are sturdy, lightweight, and razor-sharp; They're about 5 inches long from tip to bottom of the handles, which makes them ideal for precision cutting
4/5

The quilling pen has a flimsy plastic handle, but it's otherwise very functional. br>The glue bottle is a little larger than the ones I'm used to, but it's still a small bottle. The needle tip, as well as the cap (which is attached with stretchy rubber, WIN! ) are excellent quilling materials. br>The awl is, to put it bluntly, CHEAP. My handle is too thick to be used as a needle tool because it was made from leftover plastic bits from the factory mold. Still, for small projects, it's a perfectly adequate awl. br>The tweezers' tip is a little too thick for small projects, but they work fine for larger coils. br>The cork board with the forms is smaller than I had anticipated (approximately half-size). The cork itself is fairly dry (letter size). To avoid getting cork bits in my coils, I carefully separated it from the plastic frame, wrapped it in very thin clear plastic film (from a small resealable bag), and reassembled it in the plastic form. Everything is in order. br>I really like the plastic circle sizing board; it's the same one that a lot of the quilling people I watch on YouTube use, so it's a lot easier to copy their designs. It's also a solid piece. br>The 3rows 3D form is good for basic shaping, with the smallest circular dome shape measuring about a quarter inch in diameter and the largest measuring one and six eighths of an inch. It's also made of sturdy plastic. br>The quilling comb is a good size. While the teeth are not thicker than those on, say, the comb I bought from the Quilling Superstore, they are more widely spaced, resulting in longer loops and larger designs. br>The paper crimper can handle strips up to 3/8in wide and comes with two sets of rollers, allowing you to customize the crimping density to fit your needs. br>The pattern plate with pins is much nicer than I had anticipated, though it is also quite small- The holes are about 3 inches by 3 inches in size. It does, however, come with 21 pins that all fit perfectly across the board, and the small storage drawer is designed to close tightly so that no pins fall out onto the table (or the floor) if you make a careless move. br>The curling coach is of excellent quality, comparable to what you might find at Quilling Creations or elsewhere. br>The five stacked forms (circle, oval, diamond, triangle, and square) are made of thin plastic with no random plastic bits to tear or deform the paper strips. Each level is approximately 3/8in wide, though I'm sure that if done slowly and carefully, wider strips could be rolled on them. Overall, a great deal for the money. br>br>.

Now is the best time to buy a kit on Amazon
5/5

I'm new to quilling and wanted to get started quickly with the majority of the necessary tools. I recently unboxed this YURROAD 19pc kit and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items for the price! I didn't realize that if you scroll down on the item page, it lists everything included. All of the plastics are thick and appear to be able to withstand a great deal of handling. The pins are sharp, the shapes on the quilling (cork) board are numbered for easy duplication, and it includes half circles, which is a nice touch, as well as the "pin hole fan" pattern. Because it's all cork on the other side, you can use the back to make your own size and shape. It's possible that this is the most crucial item in the bag! is the ideal size, with a long metal tip for more versatile and precise glue application. Because the bore is so small, I'm wondering if you could SLIGHTLY water down your standard white glue to prevent it from clogging. However, it could be fine, as it comes with a flexible tip cover that is thankfully attached to the bottle neck! You can use an elastic to keep it in place against your body while quilling so it doesn't flop around. Fortunately, the 5 dimensional tools were much larger in person than they appeared in the photo. They don't have a handle like some others, but I doubt you'll notice. There are no seams on any of the edges. All of the plastics in the set are also available for no cost. Although the curling coach is thick and smooth - and it's possible that this is the only "mistake" - Because the tool hole is not centered on the concentric circles, it is impossible to match up the lines. The comb: I tried to pull the comb tines away from the base, but they were stubborn; the spacing is uniform, and each one is labeled with raised numbers that you'll have to highlight with a marker to see clearly, but I don't think they're used very often. The handle's grooves are also uniform and seamless, and it is solid rather than hollow. You can dome or cone a tightly rolled strip to make eyes, beaks, or anything else with the making board! It's of good quality, possibly thicker than required, and smooth to make use easier. Both an awl and tweezers were included, which I appreciated. It's difficult to go wrong with those, so they're a must-have for your arsenal. The Pattern Plate (Peg board) is a good size and weight, with uniform holes and smooth metal pegs with their own storage drawer - love it! The other circle template is numbered as well, and includes all of the sizes you'll need. The "quilling Ruler," rather than being a separate tool, runs along the edge of this piece. And now for my personal favorite: The Crimper, of course! It may not be obvious in the photo, but it has two sets of wheels to accommodate two different crimp gauges. It was a tad claustrophobic. I think it's a little too tight - I loosened the lone screw a hair or two when it arrived, and it's now smooth as silk. To wrap up this novelette, I'll say that for a newbie like myself, this is the obvious choice for the limited funds available; The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is the lack of paper strips and glue, so order those as well. Keep in mind that you can cut your own strips (using a blade and ruler, or a paper cutter), or use a manual paper shredder - both of these options are available. That's what I'm going to buy next. It would be the ideal beginner kit if they threw in a small package of strips and raised the price a few bucks! You WILL NOT be dissatisfied with this purchase! Purchase two and begin quilling with a friend.

However, for the price, it is a good buy
4/5

The low price of this set of paper quilling tools makes it a good buy, but it does have some drawbacks. I hope the photos are sufficiently clear. br>Advantages:
- There were no missing pieces and everything came as a set.
- All of the tools, including the scissors, appear to be of good quality and durability. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the scissors.
- Except for the shape towers, everything is clean, well packaged, and appears to be brand new, rather than a repackaged return.
- Because the pins are so small, they won't leave any gaps in your work. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The corkboard shape guide has glue seepage in several slots that will need to be cut out, it does not have the printed grid on the reverse side, and a few of the shapes have minor flaws that will not affect the finished quilled piece.
- The tear- The first five tiers of the drop shape tower have a blunted, almost squared "bottom" curve. It's not a big deal; after removing the paper from the shaper, it's simple to round it.
- Scuffs, scratches, and minor stains can be found on all five shaper towers. These don't affect their use, but they do make me wonder if they've been used before, despite the fact that the rest of the tools are clearly brand new.
- the "person-of-interest" The quilling coach is printed off-the-shelf and has a unique shape. center. It doesn't really detract from the function, but it's of poor quality.
- The pins are badly painted, with some pins having paint all the way down to the point, which will need to be scraped or cleaned with solvent before use to prevent the paint from being transferred to the project when it's glued. br>br>Overall, a great set of tools that I would buy again, but there are a few minor flaws that can be worked around.
