This quilling tool set is awesome. However, as a beginner, I was hoping for some instructions on how to use the various tools as well as some patterns. I'll look up the answers on YouTube, but if there were some simple instructions included, it would have been an ideal kit.

It's a good tool, but it's not worth the hassle

Although this is a cute kit, the tool box is far too flimsy and disappointing to be given as a gift. The tools were complete, but there were no instructions, so a beginner would have to guess where to begin. This does not receive a high rating because you will need to go out and purchase a sturdy tool box. There were no instructions, and it took me a long time to find a box that cost the same as this kit. I was let down. Amazon, as a third-party with its Standards, needs to step up quality control.

It's a big hit with my cat

lol. This is a fantastic collection of items. Everything is included except the glue, which I was disappointed to find out about at first. However, I quickly realized that the four small glue containers are ideal for mixing and matching different types of glue for different applications, and crafters may prefer to choose their own contents. Quilling isn't the best hobby when you have a kitten, I've discovered. Haha. The paper strips are something she adores. Especially when she snatches them and runs away after I've rolled them into the perfect shape.

Beginners will love this quilling kit! I was so impressed with this kit because my grandmother told me she had been quilling, and I wanted my son and me to try it out as a craft we could do while we were in quarantine

It didn't come with instructions, but a quick search on the Internet (Pinterest, for example) will yield plenty of suggestions. The tools were of good quality, and the initial supply of paper strips was ample and varied in color. This is a kit I would definitely order again!.

It was a good place to start or explore, but it lacked an instruction manual

The box was flimsy, and I couldn't get it to close easily by Tetrising everything back in after opening it. That was a bit of a snoozer. I ended up purchasing a larger storage container and reserving this one for smaller tools and scraps of paper. br>br>I didn't like that there were no instructions or even a label for each of the tools, forcing me to scour YouTube for answers. I expected to find some sort of starter manual or shape guide since it was a beginners box. br>br>Overall, it wasn't bad for what I paid; I got a decent starter set to see if this was a craft I would enjoy; in the future, I would suggest including a guide; and I would mostly recommend this as a cheap starter for anyone (adult or child) who is simply exploring and doesn't want to invest a large amount of money into something they might lose interest in br>br>I'm upgrading my tools and paper, but I have no regrets about where I started.

The box is extremely cheap, and you won't be able to close it unless you can fit everything exactly as it came. The scissors are also cheap and don't do a good job of cutting; I'm reminded of kindergarten scissors when I see them. Unless you're quilling in a group, you won't need all of the slotted tools and glue containers that come with it. An idea book would have been more fun than having too many of those items. br>br>The automatic slotted tool and the shape board are two features I appreciate as a beginner quiller.

FYI, the quality isn't great

Yes, it is a complete set with numerous items, and it is inexpensive. It is extremely low-cost. There aren't enough pins on the husking board, and there are fewer than other companies selling the board separately in good quality and with tools. When you try Quilled Creations, Little Circles, and other paper strips, you'll quickly realize that they're all garbage. Under any pressure or tight quilling, this paper rips easily. br>br>Do yourself a favor and invest in a few high-quality tools on a regular basis. They're cheap, and you'll have everything you need in no time. If you have the right materials, this is a cheap and enjoyable hobby.

They've been quilling for days, just right for my Granddaughter

These kits were ideal for my granddaughters, who ranged in age from nine to thirteen years old. 11 Because they live in a different state than me, finding the ideal Easter Basket Ideas is difficult. This was an out-of-the-park hit! I had purchased the kit as well as a variety of Quilling books for each of them. When they go to each other's houses to quill together and share their books, the tool box makes it so easy for them to pick up and go. They also send me photos of their creations, which is the best part. I'm blown away by how good they've already become. They've been making cards, x-rays, and other things. Miniature fairy food and a slew of ornaments I am extremely pleased with this product, and when they become available again, I will purchase one for myself.
