How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

60 Sheets 9" x 13" Graphite Tracing Paper for Drawing: Our graphite paper is very simple to use. Place your image on top of the tracing carbon paper, face down, on wood or any other chosen surface. Following that, trace the image with a stylus, pencil, or pen.
Erasable Gray Transfer Color That Won't Smudge: Did you make a blunder? Don't worry, your lines will turn gray and you'll be able to easily erase them if necessary. Keep in mind that our transfer paper is highly pigmented; if you apply too much pressure, the lines may become more difficult to erase.
Wood, Leather, Canvas, and other materials can be used to transfer designs.
Artist-designed and-created: At Arteza, we are passionate about creating products that inspire, and we believe that art is an expression of the human experience. As a result, we strive to make our art supplies available to everyone.
We Value Our Customers: Because we value our customers, we want to make sure you have a positive experience with our products. Our team works hard to make products that we can be proud of. Please contact us if you have any problems with our products, and we will resolve them.

Questions & Answers

Will this transfer paper work well for wood burning transfers?

Yes! This is precisely what I do with it. I transfer a variety of images/words to the surface of a variety of wood species. Because the carbon transfer color is grey, the only issue I could see as a problem would be darker species.

Is this transfer paper truly "Grey" in color? Isn't it black on the photo?

The graphite side is dark/black, as shown in the image, while the un-graphite side is light. The graphite side is a grey color. The transfer lines are also not as dark as they appear to be.

Is it possible to trace images on felt with this and a stylus?

A ballpoint pen would be my choice. Because felt is a soft fabric, a stylus may be used to sharpen and cut the graphic paper.

Is this something that can be washed away with water? I intended to use it as a quilting marker. ?

I use it on watercolor paper, and the lines remain visible after painting.

Selected User Reviews For Arteza Graphite Transfer Paper, 9 x 13 Inches, 60 Sheets, Gray Carbon Paper for Tracing and Transferring Drawings onto Wood, Paper, Canvas, Arts & Crafts Projects

When using this method, it works well with watercolor
5/5

I looked everywhere for graphite transfer paper that I could use as a guide for watercolor paintings and erase most of the lines. It took some trial and error, but I'm very happy with this transfer paper in the end. When I transfer drawings to watercolor paper, I use very light pressure (more pressure causes the drawing to become very dark and difficult to erase). To lighten the lines even further, I use a Mono White plastic eraser. I experimented with various erasers and kneaded I was able to get a very faint line after following this process on watercolor paper that did not affect the finished piece or show through light washes, but the white mono Tombow plastic eraser worked the best. Also, this is a lot of transfer paper, and because each sheet can be reused, I expect it to last me for years. I've already used one sheet as the foundation for several paintings, and I'm confident it will last for many more.

It has a lot of value, but it doesn't erase anything! My only gripe is that the description states that it will erase, but it does not
4/5

It gets a little lighter, but that's all there is to it. A photograph will be included. In case you're interested, here's something else to think about. Saral graphite paper, in my opinion, is the only graphite paper that can be erased. People complain that it is too light, according to the reviews. That is what I would prefer. br>br>I believe it depends on your needs. Which qualities are essential for your project, and which are essential for me? Both of them appeal to me. Because of the price, prime shipping, and other factors, I chose graphite paper that does not erase.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I've reused the same sheet for several projects and it's still in good condition. Given the number of sheets included, this is a great deal. I mostly use Strathmore mixed media paper with the paper. Take note of this! If you press down too hard, a very dark mark will appear that will be impossible to remove. If you're going to use this under a watercolor or a light painting or drawing, proceed with caution. I use a stylus and lightly press, and it works perfectly! On wood and canvas, I can see this working beautifully. Overall, it's a fantastic product that can be used for a wide range of purposes.

If you don't want your lines to be permanent, don't use this product
3/5

I decided to give it a try because it came with so many sheets for such a low price, but it does not erase at all, as the description claims. I ran several tests with this, varying the pressure. It does a fantastic job of transferring information and is extremely simple to do. It doesn't take much pressure to get a really nice line, but even with the smallest amount of pressure, the transfer line did not completely erase, which is a bummer for me because I need the line to be completely erased. If your artwork necessitates bold lines or outlines, this paper will suffice; however, if it does not, do not use it. I'll return to my saral paper now.

It's ideal for pyrography because it transfers images to wood
5/5

Before starting a burn, many woodburners transfer outlines and other images. Regular carbon paper leaves a thicker line that is nearly impossible to erase. This graphite transfer paper produces a finer line, allows for a finer burn when going over it, and any accidental rubbings can be erased with gum or a white eraser. br>I've also been able to reuse the same piece of paper multiple times, which has saved me money. br>You won't find this many sheets for this low price anywhere else, and delivery was quick. br>Highly recommended.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin
3/5

The carbon paper I received and this graphite paper, which is supposed to be erasable, have no discernible differences. I'm working on pyography and had to sand the lines away because they wouldn't erase.

There is no way to remove it
5/5

Everything else appears to be in order. This does not erase, as other users have stated. It also doesn't blend well and doesn't match regular graphite pencils well. br>br>It transfers easily, and varying pressures can result in a darker or lighter line. The papers are also a good size and can be reused.

Excellent craftsmanship
5/5

Excellent transfer paper; I've been able to reuse the same sheet for transferring my sketches to the canvas several times. I haven't had any problems with the paper tearing because it isn't super thin. It doesn't completely erase the marks, but I don't mind because I cover them with paint. I've also had no smudging issues after transferring to canvas, which is fantastic. br>br>If you're going to use this on fabric for embroidery or another fabric craft (which I haven't done), I'd test it first to see if the marks wash out.
