Yes, it certainly should. Put the dark side of the carbon paper on the dry wall, and whatever you're tracing should go over it. Make sure the paper is turned up so it can trace on the wall. Good luck
Only on a lighter material have I tried it. It should work fine if you use a solid surface to place the denim on.

For tracing images onto rocks, these were ideal. On white rocks, I used dark carbon paper, and on darker rocks, I used white carbon paper. When tracing your image, use a pointy tool and a lot of pressure, and make sure the image and the carbon paper are well taped down so they don't shift while you're tracing. For this price, you get a lot of carbon paper, which is great if you're doing small projects like rock painting.

To ensure that the sheets I ordered were included in the package, my son had to count them. Any brand of carbon paper would have sufficed. This isn't a big deal for me, but I'd like to know if what I ordered was delivered. They were not wrinkled or bent when they arrived, however. I used one sheet for a collage project and it appears to work well.
This is not the graphite paper you want if you're going to use it for watercolor or any other type of art that requires erasing. It has no effect on the eraser. It doesn't work with a stylus, a pen, a pencil, or even light or firm pressure. It's perfect for copying, but not for watercolor. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to use these and must return them.
Even without folding, the envelope was large enough to fit it in! I have no idea what they were thinking.
It arrived in perfect condition, with no crumples, folds, or other flaws. It's very simple to use the reusable bag. It traces well, but it doesn't work on black surfaces at all. It should have stood out like a pencil, but it was extremely difficult to see. It did, however, stand out against the other colors. Because each page is so thin, make sure you only have one before you begin, or you'll end up tracing through three pages, as I did.
We "traced" our designs onto canvas as a group using the ends of our paint brushes, and it worked out quite well.
This was used to trace a sketch onto a wood plank, which was then burned over with a wood burner. It worked perfectly, and my brother was overjoyed with his present.
This carbon paper is being used to transfer drawings/words onto wood tiles in order to make pyrography coasters. It gets the job done, but when I run out, I'll probably go with a different brand. For starters, it smudges easily and cannot be erased, as other reviewers have noted. As a result, some of my wooden coasters now appear to be a little strewn about. Second, three of the four sheets I've used so far have a crease that runs the entire length of the page. I can't use that area because attempting to do so resulted in more smudges and a darker and fatter tracing where the crease was. I don't use carbon paper very often, so I'm confident that this pack will last me a long time. I'd recommend a different brand of carbon paper if you're working on a serious project or are a perfectionist.
