Papers from Strathmore's 300 Series Printmaking series are not similar to Japanese Printmaking papers. Strathmore is much thicker and heavier than other papers, and its surface is much smoother and more uniform.
There's no need to worry, these papers are acid-free No cost.

For my purposes it works well, and I have purchased printmaking paper from it in the past. The paper was damaged in shipping this time, and the cover/backing of the paper is completely detached from the paper. While it can still be used, I'm disappointed that it is so badly damaged upon opening it.
Good quality printing paper that is not too thick, but has a nice feel to it.
A typical brand name paper will not cost you as much as.
Good quality papers for printmaking at a reasonable price. For many of my small projects, I don't really need.
While getting the ink on the paper just right, you can mist a little water onto the paper and let it sit for 5 minutes.
