Questions & Answers
This should not be recommended unless you have an industrial grade printer that can print on heavy sheet size papers. There isn't a way to do that with my Epson artisan. Markers are also not my strong point.
Despite its flat texture, the texture is rough. It does not come in different sizes. Unlike many other paper products, this one is quite absorbent and thick. This could probably be used for watercolor, but I would expect paint to soak right into it and that it would limit the ability to apply washes, bleeding or soft-edged techniques. Technology at the leading edge.
While I'm unaware of what a letterpress is, I use etchings on paper with a press, and it works just fine.

During college, I took a print making course, and I especially enjoyed woodcuts and linoleum reduction relief prints. Since the college papers I needed to use in college were very pricey, I wanted to search for some that were more affordable The end result would be a print of good quality at a lower cost. After reading this, I decided to go ahead and get a pad of this heavyweight paper to experiment with. As of yet, I have not printed on the paper, but based on my first impression, it is indeed performing well. Ink seems to take well to this paper, which is quite thick, has a little tooth to it, and has a nice texture. does not have the deckle edging that a lot of fine artists seem to prefer, but I am not very concerned about that. Here are some things you might want AKUA water is the only water I use Inks based on oil are used for drawing prints, together with a baren. As for oil, I have no idea how the paper will do Inks or a print press are used to apply the inks.
Because this paper failed the tape test miserably, I have no idea what it is like to actually work on it. Taping off a border before I begin a project looks good, because a clean edge is more appealing. To test how well it will come off, I taped off all my edges with a white masking tape just like I do with Stonehenge white, waited a few minutes, and started testing lest I spend hours on a piece of art only for it to tear off immediately. Although I may use it for practice, I will stick with Stonehenge white paper, it is the best paper I've ever used.
It is the best paper to use for etchings. The subscription and save program offers a discounted rate as well.
It is a good product, but it arrived damaged due to water. There is about half of paper in every sheet that cannot be used.
It is a good idea to use quality paper for printing.
It was very good for the class but I needed to soak it much longer than I used to with other printmaking papers The press should be fine, as long as you are using it.
There was a crack in the corner of the pad. Because I use the product regularly, it doesn't matter to me.
Although both of these pedals arrived to me with stripped threads, I managed to get them to work. The review was not good.
