Because I chose this size because it had the largest image size I could find for mixed media. A ridiculously large box was used to ship it, and there is a more permanent crease/fold on one side where it probably slumped inside. An attached photo illustrates what I'm talking about. Heavy objects have been placed on top of the package in hopes it will flatten, but it has not. The tape I have used will not provide a flat surface when I attach it to a board as shown. As much as I use it for an online workshop, you should be aware that Amazon might be storing the packages incorrectly and that the packages may be shipped The problem now is that I have begun painting on a sheet that I did not gesso and didn't tape to a board beforehand. It won't lie flat and when it dried I tried to tape it to a board but it went I should have taped it first. I will tape and gesso it before painting the next one.
A lino printmaking class is described as the purpose of this purchase. Colors are accurate to the image and absorb ink well. Dries easily to a size that can be ripped. When you tear your paper for prints, you need to be cautious not to bend it too easily, but I didn't experience any warping so long as I didn't soak it in water before I started printing (like I did for my monotype). A good price for a good quality product (which I bought back in August for a little cheaper), and it arrived by the end of the week, so I I still have some left, and I got some for Christmas, so I plan on seeing how it holds up to other mediums like watercolor or marker, but I expect it to hold up well.
Reviewing the lightweight paper reviews would have been a good idea. In spite of the picture appearing to depict cold press paper, I received what appears to be hot press or a very light cold press at best. I could not use it in any way. Calculate the grade for each student.
I love how nicely packaged it is.
I've used it for more than two decades. There is a lot you can do with this paper. Despite being able to be torn down easily, it is durable and thick. am in love with Upon receiving my package, I found that none of the sheets were ripped, bent, or wrinkled in any way. There was a fair amount of security. The product is excellent. I would buy it.
The printmaking process is a good fit!.
This printmaking paper is ideal for all types of printing. The deckle edges are nice.
Our experience in using different papers for this type of printing allowed us to produce an excellent product for a fair price. We cut the paper to fit the size needed, which enhances the overall flexibility of the product. Unlike other inks, this ink does not bleed through, so it leaves.
