I'm used to working on watercolor paper, but this smooth surface takes somewhat getting used to because the paint doesn't soak in like it does on watercolor paper, but the colors stay true and I enjoy the wet-look. Translate this into Here's what I can do with wet effects! Customer service is the only thing I have a problem with. I sent several emails asking questions, and no one has ever responded. As well as a thicker paper and larger sizes, I wish they made. However, I have found that it is one of my favorite surfaces for painting.
You could say, in a way, that the best aspects of traditional paper and the Yupo polypropylene were combined. Paper takes paint like normal paper, but lifting with it tends to be more effective than with Yupo. It is possible to scrub the paper and use it very roughly and the surface will remain clean and unaffected. The pigment granulation is excellent. It is amazing and I can't wait to experiment with it more in the future.
The results are very good for the first time I have used mineral paper and alcohol ink. Using the Kamar sealer, I find that it curls just a bit but no more than a percentage. Frames will still be available to me.
". It is nice paper to use and it is fun to work with it. Has the ability to work on a variety of media and hold up well.
One can achieve amazing effects with watercolor painting, including dripping, drizzling, and wet on wet effects. It is an inexpensive and great way to experiment and explore.
It is not as workable as yupo, but it is a great price alternative also, the paper can be torn unlike yupo, so I often use it in collages.
I'm thinking of paper for inks, but it could work for other media, too. Unlike other papers, this one feels like silk and allows working with inks.
I am currently obsessed with art, which I am using for this. The product is exactly how it appears on the website. I love it.
