Selected User Reviews For Fabriano Studio Paper Mix Media Pad
Arrived on time. Paper quality is not as good as my Canson XL Mixed Media pad, but that is my own personal preference. Although it is 108lb paper, I expected it to be thicker, but it is a little thinner and the sheets don't have the same roughness or texture as my Canson sheets. However, I tested the system and it worked properly. I was pleased with the drawing results. In addition, with 150 sheets, I'll be able to print for quite some time, which is what I wanted. Oh, I see! As a side note, I forgot to mention that the pad is well bound, which is likewise good.
As a huge fan of and frequent user of Fabriano papers, this one was a bit light for me in this regard. A great drawing paper that can be easily washed and can be used lightly as a drawing surface. They made a really amazing Academia paper as part of the Venezia sketchbook.
I enjoyed it a lot.
According to the description. As described, this is a very thick sketchbook. There is nothing to complain about the paper. A good balance between texture and smoothness. Though it was damaged when it arrived to me. During the course of this examination, one corner of the plastic wrap was severely damaged, and the cover and first few pages were damaged. The reason I did not return it is because I want to start drawing immediately and not wait for another book. This is not supposed to be a high end sketchbook so it is fine. I have not tried wet media on it but it should be fine based As well, it would be great if the binding was spiral and not tape bound. I knew what I was buying, so it was not that big of a deal.
