have never used a foil quill, so I cannot answer this question for sure, but what I do know is the foil is toner reactive, which means you must create heat and pressure in addition to toner.
Lamination can be done with a laminator, but the Minc has several different heat settings, so I recommend that to you. They both sell at Michaels and AC Moore in two different sizes.

There is a thin layer, like that of.
It's not easy to find foils to match the Heidi Swapp MINC collection. It is important to know that this foil is far thinner than the Deco Foils! There is a possibility it will be a bit difficult to cut compared to Deco foils, which are more dense and stiff. I do, however, find that MINC foils adhere better to finer details in my artwork, owing to their thinner thickness. With my intricate and delicate designs, I created cards for my friends and family. The MINC foils I used on one are Deco. The Deco foils I used on the others are Deco. Deco foil does not adhere as well to small details as MINC foil does. The finer details of the MINC foil could be seen when I lifted off the foil. Furthermore, after a couple of days, I noticed that the Deco foiled cards were flaking off onto my skin. As of yet, I have not seen the MINC foils do that.
In summary, I would highly recommend this.
When packaged, the sheets were held together by a plastic sticker that could not be removed easily. -There was a lesson to be learned It is important to peel away all the stickers before first use and to cut away the stickers as necessary. In all, it appeared the sticker was stuck to the sheet with a semipermanent adhesive that I could not peel off. The end result was that I tore the paper off.
I may have used the toner pen which gets poor reviews, so it could be that I did not use toner.
The quality was excellent, and it was delivered on time.
I love the colors, and it works great with the Minc.
