I'm not sure what paper weight this is, but it's definitely sturdy, not cheap, and not a rip-off like a lot of wrapping paper.
I'm not a paper expert, so I can't say for sure how heavy the paper is, but it's not particularly heavy. I used it to cover tables for a party and it worked fine, but it isn't particularly thick.

These rolls are for my rescued cats and kittens (most of whom are feral). I crumple them up and place them in large cardboard boxes from Amazon shipments, where the cats have a great time playing in the paper. Along with chewing up cardboard boxes, it is their favorite toy.
This is a paper I really like. It's the ideal wrapping paper weight. I once bought postal paper in error, thinking it was the same as brown kraft paper, but it's much thicker and doesn't look nearly as nice on a package, not to mention regular tape isn't strong enough to keep the paper taped together. This kraft paper, on the other hand, wraps presents beautifully and holds them in place with ordinary tape. This is one of my favorite items to keep on hand because it can be used to wrap gifts for any occasion. It appears to be "vintage" in appearance.
This paper worked well for me when I needed to make sewing patterns. My only gripe is that it came smelling like an obnoxious candle, which hasn't gone away despite being exposed to the elements for several years. It is not easily torn, which is a plus. Durable.
