Because the string is one continuous strand, you can cut it to any length.

Would a sticker with a diameter of 2" fit in the middle of these?

I believe 2" is too large to fit in the middle.

Is the craft card light or dark, and will a stamp with navy blue ink be visible? I noticed a number of different color images?

It will show through if the ink is dark blue. I used a regular ink pen, which worked perfectly.

Would a 1-inch sticker suffice? Is it possible to fit a 5" square in the middle with the sides?

Yes, it would fit because the tag is 2 inches in diameter.

It lends a more rustic feel to my homemade goods

I make my own bath and body products, and some of them are given as gifts. To give them a more rustic look, I purchased scalloped paper labels with jute string. I was able to write the description on the front of the tags and the ingredients on the back in smaller letters because they were large enough. The hole in the tag was large enough for the jute string to pass through, but not so large that it was noticeable; the tags are thick and do not bend easily. It has a nice decorative look due to the scalloping on the edges. These tags, I believe, give my jars a completely new look. They are my favorite. br>br>I purchased this item at full retail price.

These tags are cute, especially when compared to thin cardboard

For only 100 dollars, I'd say it's a little pricey. I deducted a star because of the price, and I was concerned about the thickness and quality of them after hearing that they were like paper from others. They're not made of paper at all! It's obvious that the paper is thin and frail. These tags aren't flimsy; they're more like a thin cardboard.

String can't be used because there aren't any holes for it

It came with a lot of tags, which is great, but none of them have a hole punched in them; instead, there's a mark where a hole punch appears to have squished into the cardboard a little. I have to use a pen to poke a hole through the tag, which frequently tears it and forces me to discard it and start over. It's a huge pain.

It's an excellent investment. For the price, you get 100 tags, and you can write your own message on them, so they can be used for anything. I don't care for the string because it shreds; I've only used one to make my sample and it shreds. I prefer things to be tidy and orderly. It'll do the trick, but I'll have to clean up after myself.

The tags are adorable! Because they were larger than I expected, I couldn't use them for the purpose for which I purchased them. I am, however, reserving them for larger purchases. They were exactly what the description said they would be.

Yard Sale Tags are a hit! Multi- purpose! These were great for pricing clothes for a yard sale because they were large and had plenty of space for descriptions! Then I made gift tags out of the rest!
