Yes. I frequently employ it for that purpose, and it appears to be effective. When I need to ship something, I first wrap it in glassine, then kraft paper, and finally bubble wrap. This is a product that I would strongly recommend!
I use blue painters tape, which is very sticky.
I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. It's acid-free and has a low acidity. stick. It's what I use to wrap my artwork and for other crafts.
With my paper, I had no such problems. There was no yellow tint to it. The paper is satisfactory to me.

As I work on other parts of the drawing, I can see the progress I've made.
It has a neutral pH. It's wax-free, doesn't come off, and is simple to work with. It's what I use to keep track of my oil pastel paintings, and it's both cheap and dependable. I'm a straight-talker, so I use a straight-talking to rip it with the edge of a metal ruler For this type of purpose, the role holds a lot of paper and lasts a long time. This is an excellent product for artists and scrapbookers, and I highly recommend it.
I'm a beginner pastel artist, and while I enjoy the medium, one of its drawbacks is that pastel paintings are extremely delicate and can be easily ruined if they are touched (or even blown on). I bought this to protect my pastel paintings from smudging while traveling back and forth to classes and while waiting for them to be framed. I like that this paper comes in a roll, which allows me to cut off as much or as little as I need for each painting.
This paper did not impress me in the least. I used this to separate my paintings after they had become cute. My wooden paintings were left with filmy spots from the paper, and it still stuck slightly, so I had to re-varnish them. I recommend using good old parchment paper to save some money.
To dull down backgrounds and add texture in mixed media work, I use. In fine art, I use it to cover work that I don't want to fix with a fixative until it can be framed under glass, or for general storage. Painting lightly on it and overlaying it on a prepainted background or photograph has also yielded some lovely results. This is a fantastic heavy roll that is well worth the investment.
I wish there was a way to get sheets that were a little wider - Instead of 12 inches, say 18 inches.
In general, this was a fantastic purchase. I'll be placing another order.
