It's not too heavy. It's about the same thickness as regular printer paper. It is suitable for children's arts and crafts. It's something I use with my granddaughter, who is three years old.

Unfortunately, school supplies are scarce at my children's school. When I found out that my fourth-grade teacher didn't have enough money to buy construction paper, I went out and found the best deal I could. There's no way a group of nine can do it. and 10- Construction paper should not be used by children under the age of ten! I ordered two packs, which arrived in a box that was just right for them. They arrived quickly and were packaged in such a way that she could store and use them in her classroom with ease. My child has brought home various projects that his class has been able to complete since I dropped them off. I'll be ordering another box from here in the near future. There's no way kids should go without these things, but I'm glad I was able to find a good enough deal to help supplement that!.
However, the Amazon image depicts and advertises that the package comes in 12 different colors! As stated in the description, the package you receive only contains ten items! It's a tad deceiving and depressing. I was hoping to believe that it was really the 12 colors, because the light blue and light green would have been lovely additions.
For the price, this is a good deal. The colors are good, but the paper is a little thin but adequate in thickness. When buying construction paper, make sure to check the mil. It absorbs school glue like a blotter, making it difficult for the child to adhere cutouts to a sheet. Unless they're held in place, they're prone to falling off. This isn't appropriate for use in the classroom.
As advertised, there was a lot of construction paper. We've done a lot of projects with this paper and have never had any issues with it, except for the fact that it doesn't hold a fold very well (paper airplanes), but that's not its purpose.
However, I have found that you "get what you pay for" in my experience. We've discovered that Crayola brand paper has a lot of good qualities, so we keep some on hand all the time. br>br>Pros:
- Colours that pop Colors come in a wide range of shades.
- Thick paper that can be used for a variety of purposes.
- Cons: Excellent price. br>br>Pros: Excellent price. br>br>Cons: Excellent price. br>br> There aren't any, to be honest! br>br>We use this paper for a variety of crafts with our kids around the house. I like buying it in this big double pack so we don't run out too quickly. Kids will enjoy it. both children and adults.
Colored paper, oh, the joys of color! This construction paper is made of paper and comes in ten, count 'em, TEN different colors, just like the ones you remember from your childhood! Woohoo! br>br>Aside from the jokes, this is a great price for so much construction paper. It's especially useful when you're spending a lot of time at home.
I bought her a light-up sketch pad so she could draw anime characters on it. This paper is ideal for the job. It's nice and sturdy, but her sketch pad has a clear image on it. She draws on black papers with colored gel pens, and the contrast between the glittery metallic ink and the black is stunning.
