These high quality, versatile pigment sticks have the same crayon-like flexibility as crayons but contain one different and more beneficial property they are water-soluble

Paint with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and other mediums to create bold, opaque designs, scribbles, and marks on the background and blend colors into clear shades, or use water to blend colors into transparent shades.

Penny, Sterling, Ancient, Rosy, Medieval, Gilt, Carnation, Apricot, Aloe, Mineral, Heather, and Sand are a few of the colors available.

Questions & Answers

Do you see much pigment when the sticks are wet? And how hard are these sticks?

It feels quite firm when you touch them. They will not break if you press hard when drawing with them. If you want a solid line, you need to press hard. If you're just going to lay down color and spread it with a wet brush, you don't need to press so hard. They are similar to water colors to me. It's a great way to make splatters as well. Writing with Scribble Sticks is a lot of fun for me. These three sets are all in my possession.
