Make sure that you stamp the image on an embossing buddy before using it. The powder won't stick to the paper as much. Another option is to use a dry small paintbrush with a fine tip to remove excess powder.

Sure, I agree! Special attention should be paid to the tinsel element.

The color does not look that dark (in the bottle) and it comes out looking more like a soft As a result, even though I didn't expect pastel purple, my card still turned out pretty well (because I also enjoy light purple). If your product really is supposed to look like the dark purple in the picture, then you might want to choose a different color.
As a replacement, I ordered another batch in the hopes that it was just a bad batch, but the result was the same. I might try again with the purple tinsel, but I'm going to steer clear of purple for now.
Although this product is fine, I bought this purple and magenta embossing powder because the description and images show an 8 oz package for each. My order came with the correct colors, but was 0 instead of 1. Containers that hold 63 ounces.
I really like this color, it's a deep purple. Although I'm not sure if it embosses as well as I'd like, it gets the job done. It happens sometimes that the paper is wrong.
This is an accurate description.
The color is not as rich as it could have been. As you can see in the image, the powder is LIGHT purple and not as rich as it appears in the photo.

It is so eye-catching and has a great depth to it, though I have not used it yet. On my cards, they look great.
