Yes, any porous material, including plastic, can be used with it.
Some types of Mod Podge can't be washed in the dishwasher. Take a look at the label to see if it's there. I haven't had any issues with it.
I'm not aware of any such thing.

The most cost-effective way to get both the gloss and matte Mod Podge was to buy this twin pack. I intended for the matte to be used to coat a vinyl self-adhesive sticker. Make a wood plank pattern out of contact/wall paper. To disguise the manufactured pattern and make them appear more realistic, I cut the paper into individual planks/strips and painted some of them with craft paints. The "self-awareness" With that heavy vinyl paper, "stick" was a joke, so I used a heavy duty vinyl wallpaper paste to keep the strips from falling off the wall. When I smoothed the vinyl strips onto the wall, I had to apply the paste thickly, and it oozed out to the surface. When it was dry, the slight sheen of the vinyl paper allowed you to see every spot of wallpaper paste (which I didn't like in the first place). It appeared to be phony). So now I had these "wood planks" on the wall with a mixed finish of the vinyl wallpaper's original sheen, the matte sheen of the craft paint I'd used, and obvious smudges of dried wallpaper paste that gave off a "luster" somewhere in the middle. When the project was finished and dried, I used a regular 3" paint brush to apply a coat of matte Mod Podge over the entire project, which flattened the sheen of the wallpaper and evened out the smudges of paste to the same, beautiful matte finish. One coat of matte Mod Podge was an effective and simple solution, and the end result was exactly what I had in mind.
I was worried that the mod podge would ruin my design by causing the colors to run, but I tested it on a paper cut item and it dried quickly and with a nice sheen. I would strongly advise using this product to preserve your paper projects. It's even said that acrylic mod podge can be sprayed over it to make it waterproof. This had no effect on my mandala! One layer of mod podge is all there is to it.
It went on smoothly, with only one coat holding the pages in place, and you can't tell they're glued. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Covers trays, decoupage, preserving greeting cards, wallpaper, napkins, or tissue papers with ease. When used for crafts, it lasts a long time. Good value for money.
When my customers want to personalize a liquor bottle or a wine glass, I use this glue.
We had first purchased the aerosol spray, which we found to be unsuitable due to its strong odor. To get rid of it, we had to open every window in the house. The paint-on version had no odor, dried quickly, and was far more convenient to use. It was very simple to clean up. We were putting the finishing touches on a jigsaw puzzle with it. BTW, the sealant was supposed to cure for four weeks, but it only took us a few hours to get it to work.
This year's autumn leaves were particularly lovely, so I decided to use the Mod Podge technique to preserve a few. You have the option of matte or gloss, and both deliver in terms of ease of use and clean-up. Materials are simple but of good quality. I applied the paint with a sponge brush, which was very effective. There is enough material to last for a variety of projects.
It really works.
