Although the leather is soft, it may be too thick for that application. It worked perfectly for me when I needed to replace the straps on a woman's purse.

Is it too soft to hold a crease when folded in half to make key holders?

It's cool that I paid for 72 inches and only received about 60. The product is satisfactory; it is not of the highest quality, but I did not expect it to be for 18 dollars. I did, however, anticipate 72 inches, so the fact that I'm short by about a foot irritated me.

I went back to reorder one of the colors I had originally purchased, and not only is it a completely different shade/thickness this time, but the leather quality is also significantly lower. The first time, I received a lovely shiny, tough, walnut-colored strap that was supple and simply stunning. This time, I ordered the exact same color/size as the first, and I'm disappointed to report that it's nothing like the first. (It's just a sad situation. ) I was hoping to be able to count on this company to reproduce the same color twice, but now I'm just really sad that I'll have to start looking for someone new. (All of my products are made of leather. ).

Regardless of the TOFL description, all of their straps are at least 1/8" thick, and some are even thicker. Because of their thickness, they are too stiff to use in most crafts.

I ordered three for a project, and they are all different in terms of color, thickness, and width. It was a bit disappointing. This product's creators need to work on being more consistent with their output.

2mm (075"). It is 1/6" thick, according to the product's name. It's not a sixth of an inch, but it's less than half of an inch (0. Given that the thickness is listed as 1/16" elsewhere in the description, I assume the error is a typo, but it's a significant one. Aside from that, the leather appears to be of good quality, and the length matches the description.
