The leather on this strip is very nice. This printed fabric became a camera strap for me. It took me a bit longer to get one than they usually do. Suitable for the purpose I needed it for (although I would have liked 7/16" instead of 1/2", but no shops seem to carry A bit of tapering was needed at the ends. In the end, I lucked out and had the splice in one of the ends I cut off. However, I think it will be a gamble as to where the splices are placed. As a result, I'm taking away one star.
Of course, there are no funny smells or anything else, plus the material is nice and soft as well. The seller also spammed me several times, asking for this review, so I am also deducting a star. Now that I have your attention, I request that you cease all.

Making custom walking sticks is what I do. Wrapping with this is a common practice. I really like it. In order to accomplish the best results, I found that it is best to soak it in water for 30 minutes then tighten it up. When wrapped around the handle, the material shrinks a bit.

A nice piece of leather for my project, just what I wanted. Horses are my passion, and I've been handling leather of various quality for more than a couple of decades, so I know good from bad. As I mentioned, I use these to make horse equipment (to use for bosal hangers), and I use very high quality, well prepared leather for this purpose. This will be a comfortable bed for my horses, and if it is maintained properly, it will last a long time.

The items were delivered quickly and of excellent quality. I would purchase from them At Hobby Lobby, I was going to buy leather scrapping, or leather strapping, but once I found out that it wouldn't work, I decided to stop. My motorcycle keys would be much easier to search for on a key chain with a belt clip. Fishing them out of my pocket while wearing gloves is a bit of a challenge. I found this strapping to be very effective.
