Leather of Superior Quality
These are leftover leather upholstery scraps from a reputable leather upholstery shop. This will be a dream come true for the arts.
Cases and small bags, book covers, leather garment trims, fringes, chokers, bookmarks, handle wraps, doll clothing, pouch, wallet, wristbands, watchbands, and small accessories are all great uses for this fabric.
It's supple, strong, and soft all at the same time. The average piece is about 2 Square Feet misshaped, Mixture of mostly standard colors, 85% the size of a hand up to 3 sq. Ft.
The pieces are arranged in a random order. We won't be able to photograph each piece separately. This is the lot from which the photo above was taken. Please note that we make every effort to adjust the lighting in order to obtain the correct color of each item. Colors may vary from computer to computer, as they do with all digital photos.

Questions & Answers

Are they soft enough to go through with an embroidery needle? I intend to embellish them with bead embroidery. ?

Snakeskin is soft enough, but the pieces I received were so small that they were useless. I would not advise purchasing these scraps. If you want a good product, buy only what you know you want and in the quantities you'll require. My purchase was a disappointment and a waste of money for me. I hope you find this information useful. If you live near a leather shop, I would visit it in person to see what they have to offer and how much it would cost.

What is the weight of the pieces, and how thick are they in mm? Is it possible to make wallets and purses out of this material?

In terms of weight and size, it was completely random. Only a few of the scraps were large enough to make a wallet, not a purse. The majority of the pieces were oddly shaped and small.

Would these be suitable for baby shoe soles?

All of the furniture is made of soft leather. Quality and size are unpredictably variable

Is it possible to sew these pieces with a regular needle on a sewing machine?

They're thick and supple, and I'm sure you could sew right through them with a regular sawing machine!

The scrap variety is fantastic
5/5

I'm new to leatherwork and didn't know where to start looking for supplies. I knew I wanted to start with scraps, and only a few of them. I chose the two-pound option and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Every piece I received was a good size, ranging from 12"x12" odd cut pieces to an 18" long and four inch wide piece, with three snakeskin pieces thrown in for good measure. There were a variety of colors as well, ranging from white to cream, black, and dark brown. Overall, I was pleased with the contents of the package, and I intend to place future orders. I'm excited to get started on something new, hopefully soon!.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price
5/5

I received a little more than 5 pounds of scraps in a variety of colors and sizes. I'd never worked with leather before, but it turned out to be a lot easier to work with than I had anticipated. For my purposes, I used scissors and an xacto blade to trim the leather. Using the leather scraps and an appropriate leather glue, I made a piece of wall art. This was a gift for my third wedding anniversary (traditionally, leather is given). Overall, the quality and price were excellent.

Very nice product, and I'll buy it again! Thank you very much! This last-minute purchase arrived in good condition and on time
5/5

I've included some photos to demonstrate a number of the items I received. The majority of the items are tan, brown, or black in color, with a few exceptions. I think it's of good quality, and I'm pleased with it. The snake skin pieces are on the small side, but they're still pretty and worth including in the photos. I'm new to working with leather and am excited to create some stylish earrings, bracelets, small purses, and pouches - and I believe I've gotten enough here to do that, if not a little more? They sent a pound and a half. I'm looking forward to getting started! br>Recent changes: I've included some images of what I've created thus far- the letter R M fabric was purchased elsewhere, but the leather from this purchase was used on the backside!.

There's a great selection of pieces in a variety of sizes that can be used
5/5

The first image shows the sorted and rolled leather pieces I received from this seller, while the second image shows what I received from another seller I recently purchased from. The tiniest piece from the first is easily 5 times the size of any piece in the second. I really enjoy it. I've ordered something like 16 pounds from this seller, and I'll keep ordering as long as hippies and larpers are willing to pay $30 for thin coin purses/pouches. br>br>If this is your first purchase and you want to get your feet wet in the world of leather crafts, you should know that ordinary stitching punches don't work all that well on such thin leather, simply because they're so elastic that the nice even holes you set out to punch end up closing into what look like tiny wounds, making even stitching extremely difficult. There are, however, a variety of hole punchers available. Personally, I prefer my manual hammer set. I mostly use my handheld puncher (which looks like an office single hole hole puncher but has different sizes) but I also use it for a lot of things.

I was blown away by how far you went above and beyond my expectations

This was exactly what I needed for my project-- a patchwork purse that is also suitable for small projects There was a lot more than I expected, and the colors were stunning. I've attached a photo of what I got, which is laid out on 18" tile for scale.

Know what you're getting and why you're getting it

Chrome-tanned leather is a type of leather that has been treated with chromium I suppose it all depends on what you plan to do with the scraps. I got a lot of chrome tanned upholstery leather, but it was all odd cuts of unusable parts. They're all very soft, with a lot of unusual colors and patterns. These would be suitable for a few small crafts and, more importantly, for adding some accent pieces to your work. For the interior of the wallet, I could only use one small cut. Apart from that, all of the other pieces are too soft for interiors and too thick for liners. br>These pieces may have a use, but it's not what I expected. These would be ideal for a particular project, but I'm not sure what that project is.

Much better than I had anticipated
5/5

This was my very first scrapbooking purchase. I was surprised and pleased that these pieces exceeded my expectations, despite my reservations about the cost value. The company bribed me into giving them a five-star rating by sending me two. Even if you don't want to spend the extra money, these pieces are well worth it. One was enormous (for scrap), with a width of over a foot and a length of more than two feet. Approximately one-third of The belly hide makes up a fifth of it on one end, but even that portion is soft and inconsistent. Even though one of the pieces was made of pleather (or another type of leather fabric), it was of excellent quality. I'll keep buying scrap packages from this seller as long as it meets my expectations.
Edit: After some measuring, I discovered that the largest piece is more than enough to make a nice laptop sleeve, and it's even a nice grey color to go with it.

Colors, textures, and sizes come in a wide range of hues
5/5

I was blown away by the variety of colors, textures, and sizes of the pieces. The small envelope of snake skin that arrived with my shipment pleasantly surprised me. I would strongly advise you to buy these leather scraps, and I plan to do so myself. It's actually fun to open it like a present because you never know what you'll find inside, and I can't wait to get started on some projects.
