It doesn't have a lot of stretch to it. It might stretch a little if you wet it. However, it has served me well in the lanyard application for which I bought it.
No, it won't happen. This is what I used to reassemble my vest. A neck strap isn't necessary because the bag isn't heavy enough.
To be honest, I believe you could use this lace in your quest to wrap or braid a knife handle. When first delivered, the lace is about a millimeter thick and square in shape, and it is not very flexible. You may need to give it some time to adjust to a more flexible state.
This lace was used for the side laces on a vest, and it worked well, but it is stiff and slick. For both tied and untied boot laces If you're going to tie a lot of knots, you might want to go with a "softer" lace.

Extremely slim. Approximately half the size of the original glove. I'd previously used a Wilson pro stock lacing kit. much higher level of quality I attempted to save money by choosing this option, but I will not do so again. br>br>Updated: My mistake, this was shoestring, not catching glove string. There was nothing wrong with the product, but it was significantly thinner than what would be used for a catching glove:.
Well not very good at all I pulled on them to tie them in a knot and they broke then I shortened it and tied it again and it broke again leather shouldn't break that easily maybe I should have bought quarter inch thick but the other leather I have is a thin stick and very strong the leather I purchased there didn't break every time I put a little pressure on it so I guess if you're looking for strength don't bother.
I was having trouble finding laces that would stay zipped on my side zip boots. I knew leather laces would work, but I didn't know where to look for them. Then I came across this product, which is ideal because it is cut down to two 6 foot lengths from a total length of 12 feet. For the mathematicians out there, 72 inches equals two 72-inch leather laces. That was precisely what I was looking for. br>br>When I first got this, I laced up my booths and haven't had to touch them since. Perfect!.
The only drawback is that I noticed some dye bleeding while working with the leather.
It appears to be as described, is sturdy, and has one shinny/finished side, one smooth side, and two other sides that appear to be cut leather. It bleeds onto other materials and/or skin when it gets wet, really wet.
These were purchased for my work boots, which I wear for 12 hours a day, four to five days a week. It's extremely tough and can withstand a lot of abuse. Much better than the standard laces that come with your boots, a D gives you 12 feet of laces, so you may end up with two sets of laces.
Everything is exactly as described, with the exception that the black is not as dark as you desire. It wasn't a big deal because I used black nail polish to achieve the desired shade. As you can see in the photo, the one that is a little goldish is the original, and the one that I treated and darkened is the one that I treated.
It's far more durable than the leather cords sold at Michael's or Joann's. When I pulled on the one from the craft store, it broke a lot more easily.
