I'd say that the weight of the shelf and what you're putting on it should be taken into consideration. It is, however, quite durable.

Animal-free leather is a great alternative

I've been looking for a vegan-friendly alternative strap material for my creations for quite some time now. br>br>I've experimented with a variety of synthetic leathers and rubbers, but none of them have ever felt quite right. That is, until I came across this resource. It's so similar to my regular oil tan leather that my products, whether made of cow or synthetic leather, look almost identical. Strong and easy to work with. Stretches well and does not distort. When compared to my leather, it is a little more expensive per square foot, but it is well worth it.

A good leather substitute is available

This was used to create a harness for a Woodsman costume (From Over The Garden Wall). It was more resistant to punching than leather (it's plastic, so it's a little self-protective). heals), but she cut through them with ease, and she was able to hold the wood bundle required for the costume. The leather appears to be real. br>br>I wouldn't use it for anything that requires a lot of strength, but it's perfect for costumes.

This Faux Leather strip was purchased to compare my Angelus custom paints, but I will purchase a higher quality leather strip next time because this one has a plastic feel to it.

This product is used for all of the strapping on my armor; it's surprisingly durable and thick, and because it's a 'plastic,' it adheres well to most glues. br>br>Highly recommended; I'll definitely keep some on hand.

It's a strip of plastic that looks like leather! Electric tape is a step up. I'm using it to repair the damage my cockatoo has done to my husband's desk chair. That's where it comes in handy.
