I needed to wear a glove to use this punch because it isn't very sharp and requires a lot of pressure to punch a hole in leather. The handle is so uncomfortable that I was forced to punch a hole in a leather belt with enormous pressure. The fact that I have to punch 20 holes is exhausting. I'm hoping to finish my project soon because I'll be throwing this tool away once I'm finished. There was one positive aspect to this - the price was low.

One belt needed more holes, so I drilled them. I found this hole punch to be perfect for the task, and a good value at the price. I recommend backing up your punching material with some cardboard (I used the backing board from a notepad) to prevent metal-to-metal contact, which could damage the tool. It was very easy to see the new holes in the belt, and they did not differ much from the original holes.

The tool works if you can change and set the punch driver with the screw it comes with, but I am unable to tell you if it does. included screwdriver is useless and can't turn the screw even a couple of turns - it's useless! Basically, it strips away all the data. There are three other (excellent quality) Philips monitors that I have tried so far I have tried all the screwdrivers I have none of them work. In essence, the screw is just stuck in place because it is painted over. Great job, Amazon, on delivering a useless, garbage tool that will cost me money and time and cause me to miss a deadline.

Purchasing this leather hole punching set allowed me to use it on fabric as well. My projects are made easier when there are multiple punch size options in one tool. It makes so much more sense to use one tool to drill different diameter holes than two separate tools. I thank you for your help.
