I cannot believe you don't know already, but all the spikes in this kit are durable alloys. Fabric and leather can both be treated with those products. Fixable in a matter of minutes. It is only necessary to make a hole in the material, then put the screws through and screw the spikes together.

Chewing on the collar of the other is a favorite pastime for one. During the process of choking prevention, we need to use a breakaway collar. It's still on, and the other dog hasn't pulled it off yet since yesterday when I put spikes on his collar. Here is hoping it will be the solution to a problem that has vexed me for years. Prior to tightening the studs, I put superglue on the threads so the studs aren't likely to come off in the event that the dog chews on the collar. If normal conditions were present, I doubt this would be necessary. A nylon collar refused to accept the hole punch because nylon cannot be punched. A soldering iron was used to create the holes, and that worked just fine.

Although I did not like this product because it had holes in it and part of it cracked, I was not going to waste my time sending it back and waiting another two weeks when I could just get the five to six pieces it had that were missing and broken.

This great little kit includes an awl and a tiny screwdriver (for my own purposes, I recommend an awl over the punch). In addition to the spikes and rivets themselves, they are pretty cool.

I have already bought two. have purchased two sets so far as it is easy to use. Includes a leather hole punch, but you will need your own hammer and block of wood. ***The screw is a little too long for the round studs unless the leather is double-layered. Having a unique fashion hobby is a lot of fun!.
