Hello, sodium polyacrylate is what it's made of. Thanks.
Was there enough water in the container for the beads to absorb? I used four to five packets and soaked them in water overnight. They were able to fill a 5-gallon bucket.
Yes. That is precisely how I intend to use them. a focal point They don't float because they aren't made of water.

This is where these tiny magical pills come in. br>br>For each gallon pot, I used about a pint of them. Replace the top layer of soil after mixing them into the soil as close to the roots as possible. They're small in comparison to other plants, making it easier to mix them into the soil while still fully hydrated. br>br>I'm sure someone with a green thumb would say this is a bad idea, but I was gone for nearly two weeks and even my orchid is still alive!.
How difficult could it possibly be? Isn't it just a matter of adding water? Almost two gallons were absorbed by only a quarter of the tiny bag! They look fantastic in my favorite office vase, but when I put cut flowers in them, they don't seem to lose any of the water that the flowers would absorb. As a result, I had to add water, which made it look a little silly but was still acceptable.
These grew to be as large as the advertisement's third bead from the right. With just one pack, I was able to fill 3 1/2 vases. I also bought some from Michaels and was able to fill four and a half of them with just one pack. They were exactly the same size as the ones I bought at Michaels.
They work wonders for small plants in water, allowing them to stand upright. I will say, however, that they dissolve in peroxide (which is useful for preventing mold), so keep that in mind if you plan to use any in the water these are in. They hold a lot of water! br>br> Exactly as stated in the description I put a teaspoon of them in a bowl of water and they expand in no time! Excellent value for money. When they're dry, they may appear to be a small amount, but trust me when I say they're a great deal.
I didn't test how long they stay full without water, so I don't know.
I tried the floating pearls design, which was successful until the pearls began to absorb the water. This isn't really a complaint (it's purely a result of user error). They were crystal clear in the water, and we got a lot of positive feedback. The glitter in the vases and pearls was incredible, which you can't see in the photos.
Despite the fact that they are not new, they continue to delight me. Instead of soaking them in plain tap water, I add a pinch of table salt to the water to help them retain their round shape. They'll be more visible as a result of this. They could be a lot less expensive, in my opinion, but hey, everyone has to eat, right?.
They're much smaller than the tiniest bead in the description photos, as you can see. If you don't plan on soaking these in water, don't expect to be able to use them for anything. They looked like they'd be a good filler for some clear acrylic bins I wanted to use for standing up products, but they're way too small.
