Yes, someone else claimed to have filled a vase with approximately 44 inches per bag and used five bags for a 5 inch tall vase. br>br>That works out to about 16 cubic inches per bag, or 9 bags to fill your 144 square inches at an inch depth.
I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't be done. They were used in red mason jars at my daughter's wedding!
These, on the other hand, I did not purchase. They appear to be uninteresting. My teeth are white as a sheet of glass.

The quality was a major letdown. What they sent was the gem on the left. The one on the right is a Dollar Tree find. As you can see, the gems they sent are full of air bubbles, have a slightly dingy color, and aren't nearly as clear as they should be. I purchased 5 pounds of them, and they all appear to be identical. I was extremely disappointed.
This was a repeat order based on a previous order. The second order was a complete departure from the first. A different color, as well as a larger and dirtier size and appearance. The fact that these two shipments were clearly from different vendors irritated me. I placed a second order, expecting to receive the same product, but I did not receive it. After they've been washed, the beads are fantastic. The color is a stunning cobalt blue. It's just a lot different than the turquoise and silver beads I got the first time.
I thought five pounds would be sufficient for a plant in a 5x5 container in a one gallon planter, so I purchased five pounds. NOT! Not by a long shot. I could fill it with 15 pounds of those tiny pebbles. They're about the size of a nickel. The picture depicts a large river rock, not a small river rock. Especially considering the price. They are not being truthful in their marketing.
Delivery was extremely quick, and the product was well-packaged in 1 pound mesh bags. Colors are evenly distributed and of good quality. between a matte and a glossy Light does penetrate through the gloss finish, which is similar to that of traditional marble. I'm very pleased with it, and it has a lot of potential applications.
On Pinterest, I saw how these small stones were placed in a bird bath to allow bees to drink. I added these stones, and they're so cute! I was in love before I could add all of the wayer because I had bees. We mixed in a few glow in the dark stones and I was in love.
It's too small and has been tampered with. The tops of these beads appear to have been repeatedly poked. Each divit had a white appearance, so they all had little tiny divits on the tops, which scewing the color. The red color was also not uniform; there were clear streaks where the red coloring hadn't penetrated, and they were all scuffed. br>br>I was looking for: br>red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and a Caribbean blue (or light blue), all about the size of a nicklebr>i have the yellow, green, blue, and blackbr>the red has streaks of uncolored glassbr>the orange is actually an amber, but proper size. acceptable, but I'd prefer an actual orangebr>the purple is a little on the small sidebr>the Caribbean blue (or light blue) is a good size, but it has streaks of uncolored glass running through itbr>the caribbean blue (or light blue) is a good size, but it has streaks of uncolored glass running through itbr>.
I used them in a craft project because they were cheap, and while 5 lbs was more than I needed, the price was still reasonable. They have a flat surface. ish and have the appearance of a white flat rock. I'd buy them again once I've used up the rest of the 5 pound bag. It is a good deal.
These aren't clear; they have a greenish tint to them, which I didn't mind because they were going into a green vase. I like the way the vase looks overall, but keep in mind that 5 pounds was barely enough to cover the vase's bottom. They're decent enough, but I could have gotten them for less than half the price at Dollar Tree.
