Questions & Answers
I loved them for the centerpieces I made with them, which were approximately 6 cups.
After rinsing the shells, I placed them in an aquarium, where they stain the water. Before putting them in an aquarium, I recommend soaking them in water and changing it daily until the water is clear. I've never had this issue with regular aquarium rocks before.
They come in a variety of sizes, but for the most part, they're as thick as small rocks. With a hammer, you might be able to smash them down to a manageable size. They're thick, but most of them are still fragile, and I believe they'd break up.
My fish tank's water turned the color of the stones after I used them in it. If they won't get wet, you can use them outside.

The only blue stones in my tank now are the ones that came from the blue gravel I used to have. These would be useful for a variety of projects besides water.
These are ideal if you're looking for very small, thin pieces of beautifully colored bits of what appear to be shells; the pieces are about the size of a woman's ring fingernail and are generally quite thin. They were ideal for creating a mosaic floor for a miniature setting (doll/fairy house).
The aqua color is ideal, and it adds a lovely touch.
In less than a month, the color has almost completely faded. They're no longer black, but rather white.
In the winter house, the light stones reflect light and appear to provide succulents with even more light.
Working with natural crushed shells is one of my favorite things to do.
These shells will be used on the bottom of my glass vases for centerpieces, and the picture does not do them justice. I'm going to scatter some around the bases of the vases on the tables as well. With these shells, I was able to easily embellish a frame. If I come up with more ideas for projects to use these shells for, I'll definitely order more.
The color was a little darker than I expected, but they're still lovely and iridescent, and I'm planning to use them in mosaic art.
