These are made of plastic and resin and are very clear. I, on the other hand, purchased them for my grandson to use as Chaos crystals in his Sonic the Hedgehog collection, and I honestly have no idea if they shine in the sun. Yes, they shine in the way that light should shine through them, but not in a glittery way.

They're exactly how I imagined they'd be! They're big, plastic faux fur gems that come in a rainbow of colors. br>br> It would be ridiculous if they appeared to be real. They're meant to be used for entertainment as well as decoration. Although the material isn't hard enough for the edges to cut, stepping on one of these would hurt more than stepping on a LEGO. They're also light and pretty, and the bag comes in a nice variety of colors. br>br>*These ARE small enough to be a choking hazard for small children who have a habit of putting things in their mouths. To avoid any unnecessary trips to the hospital, it's probably best to keep these in a jar or bottle that has been glued shut. br>br>However, for older children who can be trusted not to eat them, they're great for crafts, imagination play, counting/sorting, and as game pieces. br>br>If I needed more, I'd buy them again!.
I spent some time looking for acrylic gems that were a good size, came in a variety of colors, and were of reasonable quality to buy for my kids. Finally, I took a chance on these, and we are very pleased with them. The sides are smooth, and holding them is a pleasurable experience. We bought the 30-pack, which came with at least two of each color. They're a lot of fun to play with and have a lot more gleam than I anticipated. I would strongly suggest it.
My four-year-old enjoys pretending to be on the lookout for treasure or gems. We bought these to bury in the sandbox, hide around the house, and so on, and they've served us well. We were more concerned with an affordable price than pristine condition because we knew the kiddo would scratch and bang them up. Based on the other reviews, I expected them to be in less-than-perfect condition when I bought them. They were absolutely correct - The edges have a lot of dings and scuffs, but the colors are bright and cheerful, and they're 4 year old approved. I would purchase these again because there are a lot of pieces for the price.
hardy! I believe they are hazardous to babies who are still putting things in their mouth. But once you get past that, they're fantastic! Because they are very sharp on the pointy side, they can also be dangerous on the floor pointing up; however, I adore these gems! So far, we've used them in three piatas, a sandbox, and a bouncy castle. a hidden treasure chest! Not only have I bought the multicolored version, but I've also bought other colors. I also received the clear ones! I think I've bought about ten packs in total over the years! Also works well as a gift!.
When my friends and I play DnD or other role-playing games, I use these as tokens or treasure. Overall, they look great, though some will have a "wavy" face due to a slightly underfilled mold, and almost all will have a small sprue, which is standard for all molded plastics. I like the colors and am pleased with the variety; additionally, the edges are reasonably sharp, making them feel almost like high-quality polyhedral dice; and, while I wish they came in a variety of cuts (they are all the classic "diamond" cut shape), they have some nice heft, catch the light well, and look great tossed among a pile of coins, so they are basically perfect for my uses.
We were looking for "gems" for a pirate-themed party. a treasure toss game with a theme I examined a number of similar items and found it difficult to estimate their size and weight. Even small children could toss these because of their size and weight. Good quality, and I liked the color combination! They're shaped like a real "diamond" with a pointed back; they're not sharp, but keep everyone away from the target in case of errant throws.
It's very sparkly, and it's exactly what I expected. My purchase was a great success. I would strongly suggest it.
But it was because of this that I was able to give her an entire bag of diamonds in various colors! She's delighted with her new find, and I am as well; they're cute and colorful, with the only caveat being that one side is quite sharp. Aside from that, it's a great game to play if you want to play pirate.
