How well would these work as wax models?

Casting wax can be applied to smaller pieces, which seems to be the case for me. Unless tested on a bigger block of wax, I am not sure how strong they are. The only downside is that I have not used all of mine yet, so because of the price, I cannot comment on the

What is the best way to cut soap with these?

When I studied advanced sculpture in high school, I used to use this set I have used them for soap carving and they work well. Any material that is not as hard as soap stone or fresh clay would be recommended. A bar of soap is the perfect middle ground.

Do you think this would work better with sculpey polymer clay or air dried ?

With hard and medium Sculpey polymer clays, they work quite well, but they must also be used with air dry clay as well.

In spite of my desire to deny it, I have learned a lot from this experience. If I couldn't find anything I made my own or used whatever I had- Items such as toothpicks, exact knives, etc. - As far as I remember, I did fine. I tried to achieve a high level of detail, but was never able to do so. There is only one downside some of the tools broke while cutting back edges of clay (polymer). I was not cutting out big chunks, and I wasn't being a hamfisted. There is just too much softness in the wood. It's still there.

The rust and corrosion buildup on some tools became evident after a few uses

There were mold spots on the wood that caused it to darken. (Wants to keep track of which tools I did what job with)

As a result, the photo that was included with the order showed different tools than what I actually There are a lot of redundant tools, as other reviews have noted. Although the quality of the tools is not great, if you're a potter, sculptor, or crafter you should invest in a few But I think these will be very useful in a classroom setting, and I will be using them as much as possible.

The set of dolls looked like it had a lot of different ends to generate different details and such. She often works in clay and ceramics. have a sturdy feel to them, and I'm pretty sure she will enjoy.

I use them for what I need them for and they work well for what I need them for. However, I did have a couple of the drill bit tips that were not well glued to the handle and I cannot understand why multiple drill bit tips The purchase is still a good one.
