So far, one of the sets has clay, finger prints, and a chip out of the rubber piece. I have not taken them out of the package yet. I actually don't even mind them being used, I just don't like how the chip out of one of them was used because I really wanted to use it but it would have damaged the smooth finish. I would say that it is a good set all around.
The miniatures were a gift from my fiance when we discovered that she was good at making them. Our favorite part of this kit is how many tools we received for the price. They work well and we use them every day. Although I prefer metal to plastic, I will use them all. They are sturdy but I found the sponge to be a little too rough for me, but I would recommend them to anyone and buy them again if necessary.
