Questions & Answers
Yes, but check with the mold's manufacturer to see if it can be baked with clay inside.
It does not, in fact. It's a great collection.
It's been 5 months since I got it, and it's still soft.
The product is of good quality. You don't get a lot of each color, but that's fine because there are so many to choose from and blend.

Awesome! I work as a sculptor for a living. My 6-year-old grandson has expressed an interest in helping me sculpt. So instead of using my expensive clay, I bought this kit for him to play with. br>br>I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this clay! Little hands will find it simple to knead. There are a plethora of hues to choose from. They're vivacious and lovely. br>br>The clay is non-sticky and bakes up beautifully. After cooking, it's extremely difficult to break. br>br>I am extremely pleased with this product, and I saw a review on YouTube shortly after purchasing it, in which the reviewer gave it five stars. br>br>This clay kit comes highly recommended!.
hi! So, I'm 15 years old and I'm only interested in the tiniest of details. I'd been watching videos of people working with clay for the past week and was eager to give it a try. I decided to order a cheap set before investing in more expensive clays to practice with, and it turned out to be exactly what I had hoped for! I haven't baked yet, but the colors are beautiful, and I've already completed my first two creations; the first one is smudged due to my carelessness, but the second one turned out well!.
Soft, quickly conditions, molds easily, and bakes well. A nice range of colors. It doesn't dry out as quickly as Sculpey or Fimo, and it's a little softer and more flexible after baking, which isn't always a bad thing. The tools are made of cheap plastic, but if you stick with clay long enough, you'll figure out which ones are worth investing in. There's a nice little collection of head pins and findings here. br>br>Perfect for anyone who wants to try clay without spending a lot of money on equipment right away.
The colors are vibrant, and the clay is supple and easy to work with. Silicone molds and the clay go together nicely. However, my pieces did not harden after baking according to the recipe. With the exception of one item, I used silicone molds to create leaves and flowers that were all 1/4 inch thick or less and flexible. I baked them again for 25 minutes in a fully preheated oven (following the instructions to let it stay preheated for 20 minutes before putting in items), and they did not change. I've used a variety of baking clays in the past and have never had this issue. Aside from that, the clay is lovely, but I was hoping for solid pieces for my fairy garden.
She is constantly creating new pieces, and the baking process has a learning curve for her. After 20 minutes of baking, the first ones were still soft, so we baked them for another 15 minutes, and some of them appeared to be burnt. We now know that as the temperature drops, the pieces will harden even more. br>She's out of white, black, and peach clay, so here I am placing an order for more!.
While holed up in my apartment during the pandemic, I've picked up a slew of crafty hobbies, and when the idea of making polymer clay earrings piqued my interest, I decided to give this kit a shot before investing in a larger collection of tools and clay-related knickknacks. Because it's a starter set, I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these clays! They're dripping wet and sticky before they're put together. baking, so you won't feel rushed to finish before the clay dries out if you work slowly. The clay hardens after baking but remains light and bendy, which is fine because it prevents your creations from cracking. The earrings I made turned out just as nice as other Sculpey clay earrings I own, so there was no compromise on quality for the price. The texture and cutting tools included in the kit are also a godsend. I'd recommend this kit to anyone who wants to start a new hobby without investing a lot of money in tools and supplies up front!.
Please keep in mind that I am 100% a beginner in the use of polymer clay. I'd never done the craft before but had always wanted to, so when I saw this kit on Lightning Deal, I jumped at the chance. br>First and foremost, the clay stains my hands, particularly the darker colors such as black. When working with multiple colors, this is especially aggravating because the pigment/stain from one color will transfer to the next, destroying your work. br>However, if you're making small charms, the variety of colors and a good amount of each type is nice. br>Because I've never worked with different brands of clay before, I believe the clay was fine for me. It picked up my fingerprints and indents from my fingernails quite well while I was working with it, which was a pain. br>For a beginner kit, I've realized it's missing a lot of tools/other products that I believe would be extremely helpful (almost essential) to newcomers. Liquid clay (for gluing pieces together), a roller, glaze, and a work surface (glazed ceramic tile or flat piece of glass, for example). ) I believe these would add a lot to the kit, and I didn't think the jewelry findings were necessary or useful because I already had them, but not the other tools. To summarize this review, the following are the advantages:br>
- a wide range of clay colors and a sufficient quantity of claybr>- Comes with a carrying case to keep everything together and transport the kit if necessarybr>- Several shaping and cutting tools are included. br>- Includes a manual with baking instructions as well as some sample projects. br>br>Cons:
- Hands are stained by the dark clay in this kit. br>- You're missing out on a few key tools that will vastly improve your beginner experiencebr>- For some reason, the clay packaging felt greasy; however, once you unwrap the clay, it feels fine. br>br>In my opinion, you would be better off purchasing the supplies you require separately. Although it will be more expensive, you will almost certainly have a better experience. I'm not completely satisfied, and I'm beginning to regret purchasing this product because it doesn't really help me as a beginner. I wish I could have used the money I spent on this to buy what I needed separately.
