Yes, this mold can be used to make soap.
Yes. They're suitable for use with clay. It must be done in stages. I made a couple of marble-sized balls and pressed them into the clay to ensure that all of the impressions were picked up. To smooth out the back, add clay as needed.

These molds are about the size of a half dollar and are completely ineffective. There was no mention of the size in the description.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out. These molds appear to be quite durable. The detail is lovely, but be warned: because of all the small crevasses in that detail, there will be a lot of bubbles with this mold. However, this is true of any detailed mold, not a flaw in the mold itself. Just a heads up, there will be a lot of tapping after you pour your resin, but if you're careful, you'll be rewarded because these molds produce some stunning results! For a friend, I turned this into a magnet!.
The green women are no match for the leafman. Whatever I do to achieve a clean release, her face is distorted. I like both of these characters, so this is disappointing.
This is the mold to use if you want to make a blob with a nose in it. This is a jumble of a mess.
So much attention to detail, great interior finish, and a fantastic value for the money.
Both molds result in lovely miniatures. Unfortunately, while one of the molds is thick enough to accommodate all of the intricate details, the other mold is only a few millimeters thick in the high part of the face and deep part of the mold. I expect a hole in the mold after another casting or two (I've done two so far).
EDIT: I've made a few so far, and they're fantastic. I'll keep you updated if anything bad happens, but for now (and as long as I'm careful with them), they're fantastic. br>br>They're bigger than I expected, but they're super thin around the nose and other areas, which worries me. If they rip, I'll post an update.
The molds appear to be quite long-lasting. They're small, but they've got a lot of detail. The detail in the mold itself is difficult to see. I used resin, and it turned out beautifully once it was demolded. About 2 oz of resin is required for each mold.
