Silicone mold that is both sturdy and soft. The molds are simple to use and easy to demold. There are measurements for how much resin you'll need to mold these dragons in the product description, and they're accurate.
They came out nearly perfect. The points on the dragon head were the only issue I had, but that was my fault because I didn't remove the bubbles before curing. I used dry chameleon mica powder to paint the mold and poured resin colored with black acrylic paint to achieve the colors I desired. These molds come highly recommended from me! You will not be sorry! If you're looking for a unique way to.
The mild is thick, so I had no trouble making the two dragons. I'm glad I bought this dragon mold because I needed a baby dragon for a water bottle design I was working on, and these were perfect.
br>So far, I've shared photos of my favorite project made with these molds, which includes a tiny dragon sleeping with her hoard of coins. Lol. br>I've used these molds with resin, polymer clay, and plaster, and they've all worked out beautifully.
I'm new to resin art, but I'm a huge fan of high-quality fantasy, and this mold is no exception. I have yet to remove the mold from the dragon egg, and I have yet to begin the other, but after seeing how this dragon turned out, I am not concerned. I'm very pleased with the product and am interested in seeing what else this company has to offer! Even the bottom does not require sanding.
I was hoping for something spectacular because I adore the molds. The mold, however, has an uneven surface finish. Half of the piece is glossy, while the other is matte. I'm heartbroken and enraged at the same time. It took an eternity to arrive, and I was expecting an A class mold for the price. I'm not going to buy anything else from them. Otherwise, it would have been fantastic and ideal.
I was skeptical when the mold first arrived. It felt far too flimsy to me, and I was certain it wouldn't hold up. I was mistaken! br>br> The flimsiness was actually beneficial to me! It made it easier to fill in all of the small spaces with color; I'm new to resin art, so I'm not the best at it, but I liked how simple it was to use. It's critical to ensure that all of the spits are filled with resin and that you allow plenty of time for it to cure.
I've only been using them since last night, but they make lovely dragons. Because the molds are quite heavy, they provide excellent support for the resin.
