I bought two kits: one for my daughter and one for myself. one each for my two daughters (ages 11 and 11) 5) to be used in an Outschool setting. The clay is easy to shape and is clean (rather than flaky or messy). The pieces stick together easily and stay put without the use of glue or complicated methods such as scoring. This provides endless entertainment for people of all ages who are creative and imaginative. I even started making my own figurines with the help of the simple-to-follow instructions. To make a unicorn, follow the instructions in the included instruction book. I'm a high school counselor, and I decided to get another kit for my office to use as a mindfulness activity for my students.

It's a big hit with the 6-year-old. The colors are extremely vivid and bright. The tools are effective. There are no issues. Baked for 15 minutes at 275 degrees. It will take 20 minutes.

This clay is a favorite of both the kids and the parents. br>br>At first, it's a little strange, but it sticks to itself very well, so you can get it out of the package that way, as some people have complained about. The clay is simple to work with and remains moldable for a long time, allowing you to perfect your creation before it dries. Each individually wrapped package/color of this " clay" had varying degrees of stickiness and softness. While the packaging is lovely, some of the clay stuck to the table and was impossible to remove without a scraper, while other packages were easily usable. The clay clung to the paper wrapper it arrived in as well as our hands. It was all thrown out. We were so let down!.

The foam clay is super soft and expands as it "hardens. " It will not stick to itself after about 10 minutes, so have some glue on hand. Because of the expansion, it doesn't keep track of details. It's ideal for kids and jewelry-making.
