Because it is so good, I am giving it five stars
5/5

Although I used it for another application which might not have been ideal, I will give this product five stars for what it is what it says it is. Using it to repack some racing mufflers was a wise choice for me, as I was worried that the fiberglass packing would melt and/or break down. In our experience, the short fibers are not the proper material for mufflers, as they are prone to blowing out the tail pipe, however, the material has held up for several During the initial start up of the vehicle, I noted some minute fibers in the tail pipe, but I have not noticed any more since my initial observation. A MASK, EYE PROTECTION, AND GLOVES should be worn when handling this type of material. If it gets in the wrong place, it can cause one hell of an irritation. Even though it is supposedly non-carcinogenic, it is still capable of irritating people badly if applied.

What I expected was not what I got
3/5

Original blanket was in the shape of a T. I thought this was for the model dishwasher I have. The top, sides, and back fit all at the same time. A layer of insulation is placed on top, the sides, and the back of the machine. The top did not even cover the whole item, which came in one piece. Ensure that it covers the whole top part of the sides by cutting it in the middle. Added an additional blanket to the insulation and it worked fine. I have been able to make good use of the utility knife that comes with it.

I cannot recommend this product at all
3/5

After installing the ceramic fiber, there was no lingering effect for more than an There was no way of recovering the fiber because it was burned. There is a reduced amount of burnt plastic left on the surface. I can't believe it. There is no way I would recommend it!.

It is a sound deadening material
5/5

My van is extremely quiet now that I have this sound deadener. Using it reduced the amount of noise in my 2016 Honda Odyssey by putting small packages in places such as the glove compartment and under the dashboard and in the side doors. I stored it in frozen plastic bags to keep it from flying everywhere and in the gloves compartment. This seemed to work in lower frequency ranges, but tire noise will still be heard, even though it is diminished. That's what a bass trap should look like!.

I was surprised at the low price for such a large quantity of ceramic fiber blankets
5/5

I was surprised at the low price for such a large quantity of ceramic fiber blankets. managed to split it into half inch pieces with an Xacto knife and had enough to complete several projects. After insulation, I was able to heat my toaster oven turned craft oven to 600 degrees Fahrenheit fairly easily (not using.

I'm glad I got the job
5/5

I found it to be perfect for my use. Applied to double-walled structures as an insulator My RV is built with a wood stove pipe with walls. At the ceiling or roof exit, this is located between steel stove pipe and galvanized ducting. Where previously the exit pipe was too hot to touch, it is now warm to the A panel can be separated into several thinner ones with ease. Cotton is used for insulation A quality similar to that of candy It is possible to use spare material to fill empty spaces by "forming", "glomming," or packing them. This product is great!.
