This disk is used to adjust the actuating rod on the Kiln Sitter so that an accurate and safe firing can be ensured.

A calibrated gauge should be used after every 20 or so firings to adjust the actuating rod.

All Dawson kiln sitters are compatible with this part.

This ensures that the Orton cones are fired at a precise temperature.
