Are you going to top coat it?

The answer is yes.

What is the best way to apply polyurethane (oil base) to the topcoat?

There seems to be no other choice but to use a non-toxic solvent You can use a water-based sealer such as polyurethane or resin on unicorn spit. Based on the bottle I have, they recommend Famowood Glaze Coat or another non-volatile top coat Your project will be protected with a water-based clear coat.

The product picture depicts a glaze, but it is chalk paint that is runny

There is a lot of runny, expensive chalk paint here. I would not think of it as There must be a seal on It would be easier to dilute acrylic paint 5 to 1 to achieve the same effect. Save yourself some money and buy five bottles of acrylic paint at Michael's. If you dilute it enough, you can turn it into a stain.

Spit from unicorns makes me giddy

Spit that comes from unicorns is awesome! This product is very easy to work with, and can be manipulated repeatedly, simply adding water to finish it off. I was very happy with the customer service and the shipping was very fast. Unlike the other colors, the unicorn spit here is a bit different. When dry, it looks like a mixture of aqua and white- It gives a really cool effect, especially if you brush it over other colors without getting it wet. The other colors will come through, making a really cool effect. You can then sand down in certain areas to get several colors showing. Exactly what I have been looking for!.

I am very impressed with your work! I love how easy it is to use and how versatile it is. A whole wall was set up with hand stained planks, and now I'm staining other pieces for the I highly recommend it.

Impatience is too much. I honestly haven't done anything creative. It's a little hard with this paint, but I love the effect. I've turned projects into paintings. There are so many paintings that I am making. In addition, I purchased certain wood furniture so that I could redo them with unicorn spit, and maybe even sell them. You're doing a great job - I love everything, so I don't have to sell it.
