These are extremely well-made and have a substantial feel to them. I believe they will last a long time compared to others I've purchased in the past, and there are a variety of shapes to choose from, with a couple of sizes available. I like how they appear to be sharp enough to be effective but not so sharp that I might cut myself accidentally. I also like that they're double-ended, which means I don't have to store ten different tools. A couple of razor ends, some curved carving ends, a needle, and even an extruder end are all included.
Your sculpting will be ruined by them. When they should be smooth, they're all jagged and rough carved. When you sculpt with them, you'll notice dimpling and lines. Purchases should be avoided.
Purchasing them as a set was significantly less expensive than purchasing them separately from a craft store. br>br>We've been taking classes for a while and have been borrowing tools from our instructor while determining which ones we really need. So, we came to the conclusion that we would require a wide range of tools. br>br>This bundle is ideal because it contains a total of twelve different tools, six handles with a different tool on each end. I think you're very clever. Everything you'll need to cut, carve, scrape, or draw is included in the set. The handles are larger and easier to grip than many other tools I've used, and everything comes in a small reusable zipper pouch to keep everything together. These are fantastic!.
Two of my tools broke as soon as I took them out of the package, but the rest are fine, and I'll probably be able to repair them with some glue. The tools are lightweight and have nice, comfortable handles. Overall, I believe they are good value for money.
This set isn't going to provide you with tools that will last for generations. These aren't handcrafted or engineered masterpieces, and you'd be better off making your own. They'll do what they'll do, and they've already served multiple purposes, so comparing them to professional tools is a little unfair.
The tool, on the other hand, isn't particularly durable. Aside from that, they leave a strange silver residue on the clay. Trying to get out is a pain. I even tried washing the tools, but it made no difference. Despite the fact that they get the job done- I'm undecided if it's worthwhile.
The tools are useful for adding small details to clay, but they aren't particularly durable. They will not hold if you intend to cut deeply into clay; the metal will bend at the base almost instantly.
I bought these for my grandson's art project, as he had previously only had a plastic set of tools. This set is one of his favorites. With this set, he can carve with much more precision. Thank you so much for putting together such a nice set.
